Works, but not as well as the original.
This seal fits the tank tower of American Standard toilets manufactured decades ago. For some reason the mold used by Danco includes some imperfections/flaws on the sealing surface which result in a rougher than smooth sealing surface where the rubber seal meets the metal tank flush orifice. Consequently the seal tends to sleep out water over time, resulting in the tank refilling intermittently through the day/night. It works, but not perfectly.
