Versatile

This Danya B Amelia shelf with rod and hooks is a versatile item in that it will be acceptable in most indoor rooms as well as useful inside any outdoor structures. It is constructed of quality materials and built with excellent workmanship. Assembly instructions are complete and easily understood. Extra care has been given to aid in assembly as shown with previously drilled holes with inserted hardware. It will be useful for many years to come.

Not my favorite design.

I installed this by the front door with the intention of using it as a key holder. The shelf is nice for holding sunglasses, wallets, etc. but the hooks are not good for holding keys. The hooks "float" on the rod. They are not attached to the rod which means they come off easily if you're taking something off of the hook. I just didn't care for the design of the hooks and ended up taking it off the wall after only a day. This might be better suited as a decorative piece where you're hanging something that doesn't ever get picked up (or seasonally). But for every day use, I can't see the hooks being practical. The design of the rest of this is stylish and looks good. The installation was relatively simple and only took a few minutes with minimal tools.

Beautiful Shelving Unit

Beautiful wooden shelving unit with iron hooks, and a rod that's included also has movable hooks for hanging almost anything. Originally I thought about a floral display, and using the hooks for a few favorite necklaces. The unit itself is well designed, and was super easy to assemble. All hardware is included including wall board pegs for drywall installation. There really is ample space for any decor on the laminated top shelf. This ia an awesome rustic decor piece that works well with any and all decors. Very happy to recommend this to all interested Home Depot shoppers.

Looks great

Assembling the shelf is extremely easy. It only takes 4 screws. It comes with all the screws needed to assemble and hang in the wall. I used the hooks to hang our car keys on it, as well as the dog leash. The bar just sits on the hooks. You don’t have to screw it in. You are able to hang additional hooks. If you plan on putting anything heavy on it, make sure you have it properly secured to the wall. I would have liked it if were slightly larger.

Not for me

The picture of this shelf appealed to me, however, in person its only okay. I am not a huge fan of assembling products...especially things that need to be nailed to a wall. It makes me nervous about placing anything heavy on it for fear it might fall. Ultimately, I couldn't find a spot in my home where I felt comfortable enough to place this shelf without worrying that one of my cats might thinks its a perch for them and tear it down.

The shelf looks really great in my kitchen

I love the color of the wood shelf. It was easy to set up in 10 minutes although I decided to not put screw to attached the shelf to the shelf brackets as it is secured enough for me. However the con of the hooks is that the ball bearing end piece on the hooks could be made a little bit smaller, because not all hole on the end of my utensil was able to fit through ball bearing of those hooks. That’s not really going to be much of a problem for me since I can just keep the utensil that don’t fit in my kitchen drawers, but it would have been super nice if all utensil end holes would go right through those hook ball bearing. I love how my utensils are at my eye level easy to spot and ready to be used. It was also nice that the shelf came with all screws which made it so wonderful that I didn’t have to buy screws for it. The screws were a perfect length to hold the shelf into the wall. Amazing quality as well. The shelf looks really great in my kitchen.

This shelf is pretty. But it feels like it’s definitely more of a decoration than useful. It’s quite small. It would be really good in a bathroom perhaps. The screws were pretty difficult to screw in.

Super cute! Goes with any style!

This is super cute, the wood looks like old barn wood I really like the color I took a picture to see the detail. It has 6 hooks and this would be cute in any house whatever your style is. Not to big not to small. Definitely go get this you will not regret it! It’s easy to put together my son who is 11 actually put it together. It will work in any room a kitchen a bathroom a kids room and office. Love it! Super cute!
