Was going to buy but bad reviews sent me elsewhere

Thanks to the reviewers. You saved me a trip to Lowes, I will buy something else than this light. Too many bad reviews to risk wasting my time.

2 of the 4 I ordered flicker. I wish I paid more attention when I was installing because two of the boxes looked like they were returned, and my guess is, these are the flickering lights. Lowe’s drives me nuts with online orders because they ask “why are you returning” and then obviously put the defective product back on the shelf.

I needed bright light for the kitchen. I love how you can add as many light heads as you like without diminishing the overall brightness of the track. Some track lighting has a maximum brightness so, when you add more heads, each head gets a little dimmer. This one doesn't do that. Very bright and love the flexibility of being able to aim each head where you want it at any time.

They obviously are very expensive we had to replace one of the three track lights after less than 3 years. We are not pleased with that reality.

We moved into a condo recently and these lights were already installed in the kitchen. I needed an integrated fixture as opposed to a bulb, so I shopped the Lithonia Lighting web site and obtained a model number. Home Depot made the ordering process a breeze. The new lights shipped directly to my local Home Depot, and I was able to pick them up within a week. I love the lights themselves and a big thank you to Home Depot for making the purchase and pickup seamless!!!

Unreliable

One failed after a year or so and the lamps inside are not replaceable. Got a new one and it was DOA. If you’re going to use crummy LEDs in there at least don’t insult your customer by making them buy a whole new fixture.

What type of track does it fit in?

I have found out the hard way there are 3 types of track , H J or L, that are not compatible with each other. Why is there no information about which type this head fits in? The photo even has the contacts cut off so I can't tell by looking to see if it looks the same.

Defective

Doesn't work intermittently. Works for a few minutes then cuts off. Then it comes on for a while. I bought a set of 3 identical track lights sold together. The original kit works well. I bought a 4th light and it flickers on and off. Moved it in different positions on the track and same result.

Lots of light

Great addition to track lighting install! Great amount of light.

Unreliable

We've had to replace multiple of these LED heads in just 18 months since they were installed. Their usable life is nowhere near what the manufacturer claims.

Lights burn out to quick

I purchased this replacement track head after 30 days of use & then another light went out. It costs more to replace these lights every 30 days than to have a brand new lighting fixture in. The Track heads should last

One light out in less than 5 Months!

I seriously should have read the reviews before purchasing! The entire light head has to be replaced in order to deal with the burned out light! (At $25 a head!). When working the fixture was great, but one of the lights,!of a three light track, burned out in less than 5 months! Not even close to halfway through the supposed life of the light! I’ll never buy this type fixture again!

Poor reliability

I installed 12 of these lights and in just over a year of use, 5 of them burned out in short succession. The reliability is nowhere near the 35,000 the manufacturer claims. To make matters worse, bulbs aren't replaceable so I have to buy new track heads at $25 a unit.

Track Light

Good lights. Fit the track well. Light quality is slightly warm, so work well in a den or library setting more so than a kitchen or place where you need bright white.

Great Look

These lights updated my look from cans from 1978. What a nice improvement. I've actually likede it so much I did it to another house
