Review of HYTE Y60 Midi Tower Black
Firstly, delivery was super quick and the item was well packaged and in good order with a very competitive price. Comunication was excellent.
[Rewarded Review] Hyte Y60
Absolutely love this case. It is designed for different sized AIO water coolers and fans. My favorite part is the vertical graphics card mount built into the case itself. The panel is easy to set up as well. Easy to remove/place everything around in the case.
[Rewarded Review] Bad PCIE Riser
Great case, beautiful, everything as advertised. The quality of the risers is lacking. Mine came with a damaged pin, others have had problems where the riser doesn't work. And you can't use a GPU without a riser.
[Rewarded Review] Y60
Lots of space for people with big fingers like me.
[Rewarded Review] Quality materials all around
Easy case to work with and all the space you could ever need. Materials quality is amazing and looks good from any angle. The case is big so make sure you have the space for it and the vertical mount makes it not suitable for huge gpu coolers like the rtx4080 or rx7900xtx. If you’re water cooling the gpu the side glass panel shouldn’t be an issue.
Very tight case for a 360 rad
If you're planning on using a 360mm radiator in the upper chamber, make sure you also buy some G1/4 extenders. Normal EK Quantum fittings will not fit on the radiator with it screwed into place. Also, if you're using an EATX motherboard and 2 radiators, you won't be able to use a reservoir that mounts directly to the 240 rad. The atx psu and the usb 3 cables will get in the way.
[Rewarded Review] This case is a work of art
The ultimate PC gamer case. I dreamed of building this case after seeing how good it looked on many other builds and how it allows for nice cable management and a vertical GFX card mount which reduces so much stress off your motherboard.
[Rewarded Review] so much more pretty irl
If you even like it a little online then in person you are going to LOVE it! it is so clean looking amd modern while also still letting you have near full acess and view of your prts. Its dual chamber too so you can hide your drives, psu, and cables hidden out of sight and leave a near show piece level system in the front. included fans are nice too, but it truely shines with white contrasting parts or fans!
[Rewarded Review] An excellent, roomy, mid-level case.
This is not a cheap case, but it's a very good, very flexible, very well laid out case. If you don't want to make yet another 011 Dynamic, but you need space and organization, this is an excellent choice. It'll accommodate two traditional 3.5 inch drives or several 2.5 inch SSD's or conventional drives, it's got plenty of room, space for as many as 8 fans with two below, comes with the Vertical PCI card riser (normally an extra item), and it's got a lot of room to move things around in. All in all this is a wonderfully unconventional, roomy, versatile case. Now, there is one downside: it's big, because the power supply mounts behind the mother board, so if you don't have a lot of physical space for your PC? This one may not work for you. But if you have the room this thing is excellent. And if heat is a problem for your setup? This thing has superb ventilation.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent case except ONE thing
Great case, very sturdy and tons of room. This is my most fun build ever with its unique design, can't wait to get the liquid cooled 4090 in there to finish the look and some Star Wars flair in it.
[Rewarded Review] 4080 GPU gets hot
The Hyte Y60 computer case initially seemed promising with its sleek design and features. The ample space and cable management were impressive. However, I had to return it due to a concerning issue – my RTX 4080 GPU was positioned too close to the glass, causing excessive heat and high temperatures. While disappointed, I appreciated the case's potential and hope future versions address this cooling concern.
[Rewarded Review] Big and beautiful.
The Hyte Y60 is a very solid case with unusual aesthetics and tons of room. This case makes it easy to cable manage and build a clean set up. The only real drawback is it's size, but in this case I'm still calling it five stars because, well, that's part of the whole reason for this case. It's comparable in size to the Lian Li 011 Dynamic, but the angled glass corner make it a bit more "panoramic" and this thing will allow for a LOT of fans, radiators, or combinations thereof. Plus, it comes with the PCIe adapter in it so you can mount your video card horizontally with no stress and fuss, which makes for an excellent party trick.
[Rewarded Review] Beautiful case.
Kick butt case! I love the look and design of this case. Cable management is so easy and it shows off my components so well. There is a heat issue with this case so I would not get it if you have air only cooling. I do wish I bought the white one with black interior but the all black is so easy on the eyes and anything goes with it.
Best case thus far
Really great case. Purchased it on sale. Comes with the GPU riser. Currently running an AIO for my CPU (Ryzen 5950x) with no temp issues. My 3080 ti is air cooled and still seeing temps below 60 degrees. Case was easy to set up. I?ll be purchasing another one for another build very shortly.
Smooth Process, even with a backorder
Very happy with this product and vendor. I was a little concerned because I ordered this before Christmas as part of a present for someone and it was backordered. Adorama was able to process the order and delivery it within a reasonable amount of time (a little over a week).
Best case for showing off and keeping cool!
Love the look and function of this case! It has a very clever design with two concealed fans beneath the floor board placed right under the GPU mount, and a separate closed off back panel for all the wires/cord connections to hide out of sight, which makes cable management a cinch. It's can also fit a big boy 360 mm radiator in the top for liquid cooling (which is definitely the way to go). I also love the vertical GPU mount which shows off that hardware in a much nicer way than the typical horizontal install. The 3 sided tempered glass offers an awesome view of the components, especially if you're rocking ARGB. 10 out of 10!
[Rewarded Review] Awesome modern case
I had trouble finding a case that I liked that didn't seem too much like a toy or overly stylized. Fortunately, I found the Y60. The case has a great build quality to it and has plenty of space for your cables behind the motherboard and the floor of the case. I enjoy the panoramic glass window design and allows you to show off your creativity in a classy way. I have not had any thermal issues, though I replaced the stock fans and added some where there were mounting points. I'm running an 12700k and a 3090 so it has the potential to get a little toasty if airflow wasn't kept in mind. The only limiting factor really is the GPU mounting which is only vertically. There is the ability to mount a 3-slot card, though I wouldn't say anything more than 2.5 slots would work for air cooled GPUs. Overall, very happy with my choice and would recommend to a friend.
