Reviews
A very smart, solid, high quality case and great value. Plenty of room inside to include liquid cooling and cable management is easy. The case runs super quiet with the included fans.
Great Modern Case
Love the design of this case with the glass side panel. Three colourful fans on the front that are customisation is great. Didn't realise how large this case was so don't recommend if you prefer a smaller med case is its quite wide. Excellent space and features
Great case, but be misaligned gpu port.
Good case, but inexplicably my msi 4070 ti super gpu does not align with the port cutouts on the rear. I had to modify the case at the rear to be able to plug my gpu in. I'm not sure if this is the case having poor alignment, or the motherboard (msi mag tomohawk wifi x670e) having a poorly placed pcie slot. My gpu fit just fine, and aligned perfectly with the ports in my previous case, cooler master masterbox M320L. This corsair 4000x is a slightly bigger case. I like it, just a shame I had to hack away at the rear to use my ports. Delivery was fast.
Great case
Really good case for the money. I was able to get everything in and the cable management is nice. It also comes with dust filters. The fan controller is RGB only the fans need PWM from the board
Corsair iCUE 4000X
This case is the best case I've used for my builds; it dotted all the i's and all the t's. None of the enclosures I've used over the decades have been this well thought out. There are cases costing much more than the iCUE 4000X that don't even come close to the perfection of this build.
Nice case but!!!
Nice case great fans quality cable ties and accessories included in box a little lacking in the screw department could have done with a few more case screws ! But and a big but is the ridiculously small space for the psu i had a corsairs own none modular power supply for this and with using the included 3.5inch hd bays i had a very very small space left over for cables whomever designed this has clearly never built a pc and the room made it very difficult to cram everything in if your using this for anything other than a very basic system i would definitely recommend using something with a lot more space
Amazing case!
The Corsair iCUE 4000x has surpassed my expectations. Lots of room to build and alot of area for cable management. The HDD Trays can get in the way of the cable management, but if your not using them they are easily removable. The only issue I had was the "Lighting Node Core" Hub that comes with this item. The 3 Front fans come pre installed, however the fans need to be plugged into this hub in a specific order or they will not work. Starting from the top right plug you need to plug the cords in a clockwise pattern. Everything else is GREAT!
Great starting case for those interested in RGB
I wanted to upgrade my computer to include RGB bling for the first time, and this case does not disappoint. The cable covers and gaps made installation so easy and clean-looking, and the 3 front RGB fans works perfectly well. Now I can show off my bling thanks to the side and front glass case, while keeping the sort of ugly cabling on the other side!
Beautiful
This is the first time I’ve built my own PC, and this case was absolutely the perfect choice. Easy work around, great space for every cord, the 3 pre installed fans are beautiful and work extremely well. The quick ability to opening up the case the case to change a small thing and reclining it is very smooth and easy.
Great case but issue mounting a radiator
The specs and advertising claim that a radiator can be installed in the top of the case but unfortunately there is not enough room to install both fans on longer radiators as RAM sits almost flush with the radiator without the fans installed. Another 30-40mm of height would have prevented the issue.
Corsair iCUE 4000X
Excellent case with adjustable RGB backlight.
Best buy ARGB case
I love every aspect of this case. First of all it elegant and beautiful. Its in my living room as a HTPC and gaming rig and it conected to a OLED TV next to my ps5 and ir really looks classy.
Excellent
A really great case to work on. Corsair are really knocking it out of the park these last few years. If this is the first time building a PC or your very competent around a computer it is a joy to work on. It doesn't come with a exhaust fan so you will have to add one of those, the three in the front offer pleasing rgb but the airflow is quite non existent, but it does create some airflow, just not much, if you are using a aio this shouldn't be a problem but a CPU cooler using air to cool it you may have to look into getting a airflow variant of this case. A great case if you use liquid or aio cooling and looks very very nice
Gorgeous case
Disregard the cons portion of this review as it really means nothing when most cases weigh the same. As for my overall review, it is a gorgeous case, the fam mesh roll catch all of the dust is an amazing addition on both the front and back. I bought this case thinking I would be able to put a 3 fan aio in it and when I went to go install it on top it wouldnt fit. That is 100% on me for not checking the size and comparability of my components but rest assured I put it onto the front of the case with little to no issue. Do be aware that if you are going to do this that it will be right next to your hard drives and psu. My work around for this was two fans on the back of it and three fans on the front for a total of 5 fans which keeps the case super cool. Overall would highly recommend!
Looks great, works great. Solid 5/5.
Does everything you'd expect from a high-quality gaming PC case. Everything feels sturdy and durable, it's easy to open and close the case panels to work on the internals. The X model comes with three case fans at the front, I couldn't test them all, but 2 of them work fine so far. I just wish the setup came with a fan cable splitter so I could hook all three fans directly to one SYS_FAN connection as soon as I got the case, but I guess it's a lot to ask. I've ordered some splitter cables so I can hook up all my fans soon and test the third fan. The case is extremely spacious, with ample space for additional features such as a radiator if desired. The back side of the case has quite a lot of space for cable management, but I've noticed one issue - the HDD tray sits right behind the PSU, which made it very hard to manage my power cables (they are quite stiff) even after moving the tray further towards the front of the case. Even after setting up everything, currently all my cables have so little space that they spill over to the front of the HDD tray, meaning if I ever want to take out a drive, I'll have to move a bunch of cables out of the way. With that said, I do believe my power cables are *very* stiff and are a major factor in the issue, so I'll say if you have bulky, stiff power cables, expect some struggle making everything fit in the space between the back of the PSU and the HDD tray. Better cables might ease the issue. Otherwise, it's going to be a bit harder, but definitely not a huge concern, just a little bit annoying. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the case and have zero regret going for this upgrade from a tiny, over-encumbered case I had before. With this, I have more space, better cable management, and ample space to future-proof in case I upgrade later.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CASE FROM " yingbo keji"
I'm giving this case 5 stars or eggs or whatever the hell because its an excellent case, but I'm writing this review to try to warn people about the dumb vendor they have selling it. Just check the reviews on the seller, they're not great. For me, I ordered it without checking and after two weeks with no update on the tracking I got an email that said: "Sorry, due to uncontrollable factors, your goods have not been sent out. Would you like a refund or would you like exchange it? We will give you a discount for the next purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience." So I got a refund which was fine I guess, but like what? Why not tell me sooner? And why do they still have the product listed? Freaking weird man. Anyway save yourself some time and order it from a vendor that is not " yingbo keji". Do get it though it's a nice case.
Professional Build Quality
- Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this case. - 9.5/10 - Would buy again. P.S Photo is with the plastic sheets on the glass. I peeled the sheets back to inspect the glass, and reapplied the plastic sheets (Do not have the rest of the parts for the build yet). The glass is in pristine condition.
Quiet and compact
This is a VERY quiet and reasonably compact case. The front RGB fans are subtle. They are a little tricky to route cleanly to the board (But could have been way worse). There is a decent amount of cable management options and support from the manufacture. The front of the case allows airflow but, by design, restricts it a bit and you have to rely on top fans and the basic negative air pressure created. You'll want an exhaust fan. It's not clear at this time if it is a 120mm or a 140mm that you'd want. The biggest improvement this case could make is having the manual outside of the box as it explains how to open (Its closing technique lends its quiet nature) instead of inside the case. It has little fins on the front and a thumb in the back. Push the side to the back until it slightly shifts after which, you should be able to just pull away from the case (once it clears the fins).
Fantastic White PC Build
I had a blast building this PC and leaning towards an overall white build with gray accents. This case is a clean, modern design that fits the build perfectly and made RGB one of its main benefits. While it isn't the cheapest case out there, you get what you pay for in quality and clean design. Very happy with my first PC build after winning the Newegg shuffle which kickstarted the build. Below is a list of parts I used, all white in color to match the build. Parts List: GIGABYTE AORUS X570 PRO Wifi Motherboard GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 3070 GPU Ryzen 7 x5800 CPU T-FORCE 16GB RAM 4000 WD Black Sn750 1TB NVMe Corsair H100 Elite AIO Corsair 850w Power Supply Corsair 4000X White Case Baby Yoda
Looks fantastic
I wasn't expecting the case to look as good as it does. It's a quality piece of kit, that comes loaded with front RGB case fans, a RGB controller, glass front and side panels. It has ample room for cable management. I initially thought the RBG was a bit gimicky, but I've set mine up to change colour under load, and it's fun to watch the colours change as the system heats up and cools down.
