Poor Redesign

Redesigned from version sold a few years ago, no full extension drawer, files run sideways instead of front to back. No way this thing is tipping over and yet this is what they're producing now. Also frustrating that it shipped put together - extremely heavy and bulky to move into house and intended room when previous model came in pieces and could be built in place. This after the single rolling ped files I got also all came with non-fully extendable drawers. I'm done with Bush

Bought this as a matching piece to go with a desk and bookcase. The size of this piece is a bit strange. The drawers actually only fill about 1/2 to 2/3 of the space inside. Seems like they could have made the piece a bit slimmer but it provides storage as intended.

This is Bush and bulit very well. I love it and purchased 2. They are very large and was able to hold all our files. It handles letter and legal size files. I would recommend this product.

This file cabinet is really big and heavy. Good quality and very sturdy. Holds all of our files and easy to open and close the drawers.

This is a very flimsy locking cabinet. I should have spent 1,000.00 and gotten what I really needed. It’s assembled when it comes. It is very heavy. The lock is horrible. I think I’ll have to have a locksmith come and put in a real lock. The people at Bush tried to help by replacing the lock, but it is still subpar. Just too big to return. Also, the bars that the files hang from are plastic and don’t stay in place. I really need a solid cabinet. If you do too, keep looking.

Garbage

I thought that spending this amount of money for a lateral file cabinet would guarantee a quality product. Boy, was I wrong. While assembling the multiply parts, I had to run to Lowes to purchase higher grade screws. The screws that were included could not be tightened properly due to the shallow indentation of the screw head "X". After 2 days of putting this cabinet together, I turned it upright and the leg fell off.

Well Made Cabinet

Im very satisfied with this cabinet. Its well made, sturdy. Has plenty of space. Heavier then it looks. Everything works well. Came assembled. The one thing i dont like is it has a lock on one side. Doesnt close drawers as securely as Id like. A lock in center of cabinet would work better.

Very nice quality filing cabinet. Store quite a bit of files. Not difficult to put together but it is heavy so may need someone to help move it. Great purchase. Pat F.

Love this 3 drawer mobile cabinet. I purchased to go with the Jovonne Desk, what a perfect set. It fits great under the desk with the wheels installed. You can easily move the cabinet. Drawers open with ease and arrived quickly with no damage. I will be purchasing another cabinet to compliment this one.

Heavy piece!

I love how this lateral file is the same height as my Studio C desk offering more workspace. However, I do with the actual drawers were as deep as the unit itself. There is so much wasted space between where the drawer ends and the inside of the cabinet. It is very heavy, but will last a long time.

Box arrived on time as scheduled. Double packed. No damaged parts. Took several hours to assemble, but all parts fit as shown in directions. Could not get the anti-tipover bracket to work. It kept blocking the lower drawer from closing completely so I took it off and the drawer closed. I have a bookcase cabinet sitting on the top so it will not tip over. Looks good and I expect to fill it up soon as I redue my office.

I bought this to match my office set that I previously purchased. It was exactly like I expected it to be as far as color and size. It adds a great deal of storage for filing, and it is sturdy. It came fully assembled, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The only difficulty was getting it up the stairs to my office, as it is very heavy. My only complaint would be that the lock only came with one key.

It took a long while to put together! Didn’t expect that. And—first rule of assembly? Provide extra screws and bolts, etc. We were without enough screws at the end and had to improvise. Disappointed.

Very sturdy piece of furniture. Instructions were easy to follow to build this. My husband and I finished it in one afternoon. The cabinet finishes are nice and I damaged. I went from a 4-drawer vertical file drawer to this - lots of space in this cabinet.

Very sturdy and excellent capacity

This came fullly assembled, which I was potentially worried about. However, it has exceeded my expectations. So many files that I can now store in perfect organization.

This cabinet was extremely disappointing when it arrived. It only comes with one key, so I need to go to a hardware store and make a spare. It seems pretty standard that locking furniture comes with two keys. Also, while from a distance it looks nice, it is clear close up that it isn't made that well. The edges are a bit rough. The drawers don't slide very nice, which I haven't tried WD40 on them yet. While both draws lock, if you pull on the top handle, the top draw seems a bit iffy on the security of the drawer. It is clearly made cheap. Nice that it came assembled.

Great service and shipping!

Great place to order from. Service was fantastic and the shipping was very fast. The drawer is a tiny bit wobbly, so one person here had a concern it might sag after it is full for awhile. But, it will work great for us as we don't intend to fill it to capacity. Love the color and the construction - already assembled which was very helpful. Looks beautiful in our new offices!

Nice

It Is heavy material so I thought the quality would be better. After opening the box the top right back corner was damaged and the inside lower left corner of the top drawer came apart. Disappointing when I first opened opened it but once I added the printer on top of it you cant see the damaged areas.

Solid piece of home office furniture

We bought this same line of furniture in 2002 -- two corner desks with hutches, a desk and hutch, a bookcase, and a table. We just added the lateral file. Matches perfectly, 13 years later! Sturdy stuff that has been moved twice without damage (carefully, of course because it is particleboard).
