Beautiful stools but disappointed in the paint quality. Bought two of the black stools, simple instructions, both stools have areas where there’s no paint like maybe where tools were holding it during the paint process. Had I not already put together before looking at all of the pieces not sure I would keep for the price paid.

Solid, good wood. Very nice thick saddle stool. Assembly was reasonable. Had all four legs fit flush on the floor (one leg was about 1/8” short, the other maybe 1/4” short) it would get 5 stars. BTW, not my floor. Checked on single level tiles. Had to shim with felt.

I really love these bar stools. They are really well made. The stools were easy to assemble. They match our bar top very well.

I like the general design, color and finish quality. The stool has a Japanese feel in the design and works well our room. They are a good counter height and are very comfortable. . Pros: The stool has a bit of weight, feels solid and is quite comfortable. . Cons: I do feel it is a bit expensive at $95 each as you have to build it yourself. One suggestion if you purchase them, add wood glue to the joints during construction as they are held together at the leg joints with just two small wood screws. In my experience, with several other stools of this build quality and under everyday use, the screws will loosen and they will wobble or break in a short time. Adding that little dab of extra glue will make them much more rigid so they'll last much longer. . I also dont understand the price jumping up $20 per unit from one purchase to another. I bought 2 @ ~$70 each and we liked them so went back 2 weeks later to get 2 more and they had jumped up in price to $90. Already committed to the style so...

Brought two, first one went together no problem, solid and no wiggle. The second one was another story it took three attempts to get it tight to the point I was comfortable with, no where as tight as first one. The stretchers on the second seemed to have smaller dowel ends than the first one.
