highly recommend. this is such a smart looking decorative piece, quality is good enough for an accent piece (vs. a heavily used dresser.) I used as a side piece next to a bed in a teenage boy's room.

Absolute wonderful value on Lowes.com

I first saw this piece on that huge furniture/housewares retailer website then looked around the web and luckily found this on Lowes.com for $345. On all the other websites including "the world's largest online retailer" the price ranged from $600+ to over $1000. Lowes again came through with great value for me as a customer, especially since I was also able to apply my 10% military discount. We use the chest in an alcove as a statement piece and to store some items that we don't use regularly. Other reviews mention the drawers not being smooth/easy to open and while I agree with that, they really are not terrible; I just pull them out steady and slow. Not sure I would use this for a child's room, as there are no drawer stops and you can pull them all the way out if you're not paying attention. We don't plan to use it every day for clothes, etc., so none of that is an issue for us. The faux leather and detailing on the drawers look quite nice. The piece came expertly packaged in a box-in-a-box with heavy foam providing a barrier between the two boxes. Very pleased with this piece!!

When I purchased this, it was listed as Decmode - 32 X 36 Inch Traditional Wood and Leather Five-Drawer Chest. Now updated as DecMode Wood Traditional Chest, Black Faux Leather, 36"W. It came damaged and structure not sturdy plus was not authentic wood

BEAUTIFUL

Came fully assembled. BEAUTIFUL. Smells WONDERFUL. Drawers are a good depth for undies, socks, folded shirts and pants. Would not be able to overfill the drawers and never be able to find anything ( a perpetual problem of mine) Perfect size for under my window in the bedroom as soon as the wife gets home to help me lug it up the stairs.

Very nice accent chest

Really nice chest. I bought two for my bedroom set and used them as night stands. The color is a dark chocolate, not real leather, more like pleather but it's not a deal breaker. It is fuctional, however, the chest is more deco. They're tall and wide which I like. I would buy again but the price is honestly high up there. All in all, it's a nice product and I would buy again if I had to.
