Nice Children's Bookcase

What you see is what you get. It is a plyboard, not MDF, bookcase. You need to use only a Phillips screwdriver to assemble it. The directions are basic. All the pieces are cut properly with the proper drillings and necessary hardware is included. Even a safety strap for attaching to the wall is included. The only negative comment I need to make is that whoever put the numbered stickers on each piece messed up. 2 of the shelves were misnumbered. It was quite obvious that the bottom support shelf was the shelf with the holes drilled all the way through to attach to the bottom runner supports. Once the left side and shelves are screwed together, the back slides in where the shelves have been routed out to hold the back; therefore, the backboard is not screwed to the unit. Then you attach the right side to all the shelves. I did it by myself needing to prop the shelves up until I could attach the right side.

I absolutely love this little bookshelf so much. I got it for my grandson as one of his birthday gifts. I raised all of my kids with a strong love for reading and I think this is a beautiful little shelf to start fostering his love.

We absolutely love this! I appreciate the detail that has gone into the thought of making the edges curved so that no littles get hurt if they bump into it. It was super simple to put together, it seems to be super sturdy, and it is the perfect addition to our little boys room for his growing book collection.

Really comes in handy!

This is bigger than I thought it would be, but I can put all that extra space to good use. While it is a book shelf, I'm using it to store more stuff than just books. It really helps to organize all my clutter. It was well packaged with plenty of foam padding, so it arrived in perfect shape. Instructions were more or less clear BUT the pieces were mislabeled. I noticed it with the first piece when it was telling me to put screws in a piece of wood that didn't have any pre-drilled holes in it. I didn't think that was right, so examined all their visual instructions, and that's when I realized they had mislabeled them with the wrong numbers, so the instructions couldn't be followed exactly. I just did it by matching up how the pieces looked and then using some common sense. Didn't take too long. There are only 9 pieces to screw together using 24 supplied screws. They also give you a safety strap system that you can use to screw the unit to the wall if you have small children (so it can't tip over on them). Other than the mislabeled pieces, the only other aggravating thing (and why I gave it four stars and not five) is that all the stickers they used to label all the pieces don't come off easily and leave a ton of sticky residue behind. I've decided to just leave them there rather than having to deal with getting the glue off. Oh, and one other thing: the 'natural' in the description probably applies more to the color of the shelving unit and not that it's natural wood. It's not. It's press-board or particle board. It's not solid wood. But thankfully, there is no smell associated with the pieces that you sometimes get with particle board from all the glue they've used in its making. Photos show it empty and in use. You *can* use a manual screw driver to put this together, but I would highly suggest you use an electric one to save your hand.

Absolutely love it!

I bought this about two months ago for my kid to have a bookshelf in his room. Whenever we first put it together which it was really easy to assemble, he only had enough room for about half of the space provided. Since then we have added enough books to fill this entire shelf up there is plenty of room for all of your books.

Kid's Bookshelf

This is perfect for the kids room! The low shelves are just the right height for them and there are no sharp corners on top. The wood is pretty by itself, but it looks like it could be easily painted to match the kids room's color scheme or as an art project for the kids themselves. I love that the top shelf has no top, so the tall picture books fit well up there. Assembly wasn't too hard.
