Metallic Silver 60/40 review

I purchased the Metallic Silver 60/40 sink. I love the way it looks. It cleans nicely; no issue with water spots or stains so far. I wish I had put the detergent pump on the left vs right as I seem to use the 60 the most often for washing.

Blanco #440216 Diamond 33" dual mount sink

Love this sink! Looks beautiful with my new granite countertops and has a very subtle sparkle to it. So easy to clean and very happy I purchased the bundle with the sink inserts #231342 and #220998 and the matching drain parts #441091 x 2. I didn't need the second one because I have a garbage disposal but keeping it in case I ever need to replace. Priced very well for the bundle!

Cracks beware, pretty sink

I was warned these crack in transit, mine of course did. I had to delay my countertop install to wait for another one. The guy requested better packaging and gentle shipping, nothing changed, arrived with a tiny crack so we just said screw it and installed it. Beautiful sink though, love the size and color

Terrible sink

While the sink is very pretty. It is awful to care for. I bought it because it says it doesn’t scratch and heat resistant and easy to care for. Well, everything scratches it. And when you drain your spaghetti the hot water marks it too. So when I wash dishes or pans I have to put a towel in the bottom of it so that it doesn’t get a mark on it. And the best part…..you have to dry it every time you use it. So if you wash your hands in the kitchen sink you have to dry it out. Or that leaves water marks all over it as well. Most disappointing purchase in my new kitchen

Don’t do it

I have had this thing for six years now. I wanted to like it. But I have to tell you I really hate it. It’s stains easily. It gets hard water deposits that don’t come off. And it gets a little pit marks in it. I wish I would’ve gone with a porcelain Kohler sink.

The "White" is more of a matte CREAM color (ie griege tone, not flat or true white) - so that is my biggest disappointment right now because I saw two people posting pictures, one of which looked white. Unfortunately had the same experience as the other person complaining it was more of a speckled beige. But I hate the cast iron - so the sink stays. Ultimately it does fit with the current colors in the kitchen, just wish it was more true to a white color as I've seen with other brands and their sinks.

Disappointing product, even more disappointing customer service

Decided on this sink for our kitchen remodel due to the supposed ‘strength’ of the granite composite material. Ability to handle dishes, big pots and pans without scratching was appealing to us. While installing the sink with a professional plumber, we gently bumped my wooden windowsill and the sink chipped horribly. It was so very frustrating. Pictures of the windowsill and the sink chip are attached.

The sink is so beautiful. Installed in our kitchen Jan 2020 in our new kitchen. We did have a problem with the installation of the garbage disposal fittings did not match. Finally we found one that our contractor ‘made work’ . We have faithfully kept clean. Recently I put dishes in the sink with Dawn soap to be handwashed after soaking. After i washed those dishes... i cleaned & dried the sink. The next day there a definitive ‘ring’ around the sink where the soap level had been AND the sink is a faded lighter color where soap had been. Dishes were only in the sink for 30 minutes or less. Now my beautiful is noticeable faded.

Easy to install, high quality, good looking sink. I was missing some of the installation clips but the manufacturer had replacements to me in only a few days with no hassle.

BLANCO SINK

The old faucet failed and shot water all the way to the ceiling. I decided to replace the sink along with the faucet. I was concerned about shipping the sink (Lowe's said it was drop ship from the manufacturer). What a surprise, packed in heavy cardboard, good corner protection, arrived perfect. Sink quality is awesome. It wasn't clear in the description, it did come with 3 pre-hole knockouts (in addition to the faucet hole). It didn't specify these, so I figured I would make it work. Turned out they were already there.

[Rewarded Review] beautiful sink

Since we've only had it installed 3 days, this isn't very comprehensive. Water beads up on it pretty badly, but if you want to avoid that, give it a quick wipe with a towel. It looks great. The installation was kind of a pain, because the offset drains, or whatever they are called, seemed to give my husband some trouble. But he had kind of a maze under the sink, so replacing the pipe (pvc) was a bonus (I guess). He also had a lot of trouble with the clips; it was a really tight fit, evidently. The delivery took longer than I expected, but it wasn't that bad: It came directly from the manufacturer, and took 5 days. I haven't replaced the old soap dispenser yet--backordered--so you can see what it looks like with black accessories. Surprisingly, good, I thought. So this is based almost completely on appearance since we haven't had it long. But it really does look great. The color is actually more like the picture supplied by Lowe's than my pictures. They came out a little washed out.

Found this, looked NO more

I had purchased a stainless steel sink with similar bowl features - didn't fit in the existing cut out. Plumber suggested I order this Blanco. Was apprehensive, but took his advise and am so very glad we did. From the looks, the quality and everything else about it this sink is so superior to any stainless out there I looked at, and I looked at tons! Our plumber and his brother both have Blanco in their homes - I can see why. Build.com was also fantastic to work with.

This sink looks fantastic. I had it installed in about half a day on a Saturday. I had one tile that caught a corner of the sink once I put the caulk down. There is a beveled edge around the sink and it caught one bit of tile so I wish I had been a little more careful with my dry fitting. Not a big deal though. Fit and finish of this sink is awesome. Had no problems with removing the blanks to add holes for my faucet valve, dishwasher air gap, and soap dispenser.

Glad we upgraded

It was time to get rid of the contractor grade stainless steel sink and go with a sink faucet combo that could fit our taller stock pots for cleaning. I am impressed with the sink, but a little let down. The description says it's a granite composite. I'm sure it is, but it comes across as a plastic resin with the feel and weight. We installed a Delta faucet on the existing knockout, but didn't add any accessories so I can't speak to the ease of the other knockouts. We did buy the matching basket strainers that FD offers, so let me offer you some advice. DON"T BUY THEM. The reviews on them are accurate. The garbage disposal flange is plastic and would not hold the ring for the disposal flange. The other strainer doesn't sit flush with the basin and leaves a lip that retains water. Go to home depot and buy a much better product at a cheaper price. Install of the sink was fairly easy, but the instructions could be better when it comes to the retainer clips. It doesn't take an engineer to figure it out, but it does take some thought. Overall, we like the sink and would purchase another one if needed. Price with FD was cheaper than other places we searched and customer service with Aiden was easy. Sometimes you roll the dice with online-only stores, but Aiden was able to answer all questions I had with actual experience with the product. Thanks!

This sink is beautiful & of the highest quality. My son is a plumber & he has plumbed multi million dollar houses & he said this is a sink he would see in one of those homes. I did purchase the Blanco colored sink cleaner because I wouldn't want to use harsh chemicals on it just in case. This sink does not stain & stays so clean. I am so happy with it I will have it for the rest of my life. Also the left side of the sink is so big I haven't found anything in my kitchen that I can't fit in it to wash. Love it!

I absolutely love this sink because of the beauty of the material as well as the depth of the larger side of the sink. I can fit a stock pot perfectly in the deeper side and the shallow side is great for defrosting or straining. I have hard water where I live and this seems to be holding up great, although it is fairly new. Our installer said that it was easy to install as an under mount sink. It came with clips for the install but for peace of mind he installed the sink on wood planks (not sure if that is the correct terminology) so that if we ever decide to replace the sink, we are not having to break any of the granite. Don't think we'll ever have to do that but if we do I'm sure I'll be going with Blanco again!

Beautiful sink!

I had my heart set on stainless steel until I saw this sink. I had never heard of Silgranit before, but my sister has had one for about a year and absolutely loves it, so I took her advice and ordered it. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It doesn't scratch, doesn't show dirt or water spots, and cleans up very quickly. I can't imagine why anyone would want stainless steel when this product is available. I also love the different sizes and depths. For normal use I use the smaller side, while the larger, deeper side works great for soup kettles and other large pots.

I could not love a sink more!

I had been wanting to replace our Americast sink for years...it showed every stain, blemish, and cut. We decided on the Silgranit sink and LOVE it. Although it's the same footprint as our previous sink, it feels HUGE (yes, you can actually lay an entire cookie sheet down on the left side). I worried that the disposal side would be too small, but it's very functional. The best part...nothing sticks to this sink--pomegranate, wine, no problem! I have to remember to sanitize as everything comes off with water. It's scary how much I love it.

We have had this sink installed for about 1 1/2 years now and for the most part really like it. We love how deep the sink is and it looks great. We replaced our current drop-in sink with this sink. We had to install this as a drop-in as well since our counters weren't setup to install it undermount. If you have the option, definitely install it undermount.
