The directions were easy to follow, and it was very quiet when in use. I had an insulated grocery bag that I set the pan in for extra insulation, don't know if it was really needed, but seen where others say they were wrapping towels around theirs. Very glad I purchased it.

This Sous Vide is Very Quite, works very well. How ever I do have some concerns for people like myself who have never in their life owned one of these devices. Thank God for YouTube, after watching several how to video's of how to work with this Sous Vide and suggested way to clean this device. Things were beginning to make sense. The company suggested that you scan their coded scan mark. That just sends you to more advertising. Please said company of this device would you please take the time to put together One or more video's of how to correctly use , set timers, make full family meals ( not just steak ), clean and take care of said device. Suggested tips or helpful hints, such as Don't stress your self out trying to work with this ! ! ! device. Also it would be helpful to have the Control Button/Marks permanently Highlighted on where press with your finger. Because when the control area goes dark, it is frustrating when you have to guess where to push with your fingers. Outside of sll that, once I got the jest of how work with my Sous Vide, I really, really, liked the result's. YES, I WOULD RECOMMEND .

Love the machine. The app is not user friendly and useless in my opinion. It was a cool feature that I just cannot get to work properly.

Temperature not accurate

Might be a good idea to keep a thermometer handy. I tested it with two different thermometers and both read 3 degrees cooler so I turned it up to get to my desired temp of 133. BTW, my steak came out very good.

I usually don't review this early as sous vide machines can be ficklle %26 I've been dissapointed before, but this looks to be decent. The app blows, but I'm not really interested in using it anyhoo! Now to the unit, it might be 1100w but my old clunker's just as fast heating %26 it's 800w but this unit is extremly quiet %26 circulates really well, reason being it has an isolated chamber for it's fan wich makes it difficult to remove %26 put back together after cleaning, just be patient n' cuss a little %26 u'll get it back together! For cleaning save n ol' toothbrush n dip in vinegar n brush the sensor %26 heater coil n the fan blades, if you do this per 10-30 uses depending on your water source, these things can last awhile my 6 yr old , 30 buck unit's still chuggin along! P.S. these E.C's. are very usefull i.e. Yogurt, Pastuerizing eggs, proofing dough (in oiled gal baggs) %26 tempering choclate for my butt kick'n Tiramisu.. yor imagination's the limit

this was a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves it unfortunately she did not get it in time for Christmas. the company was very late in sending and very poor with response to emails but she does love it
