Great planter - no bowing at top
This is a great planter. It is very solid and sturdy. The lipped rim around the top edge keeps the planter from bowing out in the middle. I read reviews complaining about the punch-out drainage holes. I used a 1/2 inch drillbit to make 5 drainage holes. It was very easy to drill through the material.
Bottoms cracked around drainage holes
These planters look very nice but the bottoms cracked when we tried to remove the drainage hole cutouts. There were no instructions on the correct way to remove them so we had to guess at how to do it.
Just what I was looking for a deep window box!
I have been looking for a while for a deep window box. So many are only 5 or 6 inches deep and because of it my plants are root bound by mid-summer. Can’t wait to use this summer.
Very happy with my purchase
This planter box is well made and looks beautiful on my front porch. Now I just have to wait for the transplanted flowers to bloom.
VERY low quality!
The plastic bottom cracked on both sides while removing the drain hole covers for outside use! I was using a very sharp utility knife which easily cut the plastic. However with very little pressure to push the point through the pot formed a 1 inch crack on both holes. Material is thin and poor quality.
Smaller than advertised.
Planter is not the size specified. Actual measurements of the two I received are 9 4/4 High, 26 1/8 long, 11 9/16 wide. Since I built wife-approved stylish PVC containers to put these in it looks like sloppy work because they have extra space.
Wrong dimensions
Item returned. 35" width great but not long enough. Needed something approx 17" long & 17" deep. Found right size needed elsewhere. Thank you.
Beware: Electric drill required to create drainage
I just recycled them. Supposedly they have punch-out holes to drain. No, you need to punch out the little X with a tool of some kind. No way to do that without creating a much larger tear in the plastic which renders them useless. Having trouble with the first one, I called customer service. Was given incorrect "instructions" re punching and same thing happened. Both rendered useless
Great value for a front porch attention-getter.
This is a replacement for a similar planter that is placed on the front porch. The color is an exact match per the illustration and the size is also as shown. The planter is sturdy enough and should last for many seasons.
What a nice plant box at the lowest price
It was hard to find this size of rectangular plant box.
Nice for plastic planters.
Good, inexpensive replacement for some old deck planters.

They came with punch out drainage holes but there were not enough of them and were very hard to break through. When I did the bottom cracked easily. I will most likely discard them after the summer.
Bottom plugs were a problem
The planters looked nice and were a good size, however when I tried to punch out the holes on the bottom of the box, the plastic was so brittle that it branched out from each side of the hole. Though I was more careful with the second planter I bought, the same thing happened. The manufacturer should make the round plugs much easier to pop out, or better still, send them already popped.

I now have a total of four of these deck box planters and I love them. They look good and they're functional. I have herbs planted in two of them and geraniums in the other two. We had to drill holes in the bottom but that was easy enough. I would buy more of these if needed.
Broken before I even used it.
There is a place in the bottom to push out two circles to make holes for water to escape. When I pushed them out the whole bottom broke making the whole thing useless. Far too fragile. I wasted my money.
Brittle plastic
When I poked open the clearly marked “punch here” drain holes, the entire bottom of one of those ripped out leaving a hole about 15x15cm. The other one had a smaller triangular hole. Um I paid a lot of money for this, and I can’t return it in a pandemic.
Planter Boxes
These are fairly good but should be stronger. They are OK for lighter peat like soils, but not regular soils. When these are filled with regular soils and the planters are roughly or mistakenly dropped, the plastic breaks/cracks. So durable for some garden/flowers purposes but not for others.
Just what I was looking for to grow herbs on...
Just what I was looking for to grow herbs on my lanai. Good size to give them room to grow. The slight curve on the bottom keeps the water holes off the pavement. But word of warning. Don't "punch out" water holes as instructed. Carefully cut them out so you don't crack the plastic.
Very nice
Excellent planter for my needs. The resin material made them easier to move around after being filled with soil. Drain holes at the bottom are a great help. Color was just right. Packed well, so no breakage.
Terra cotta planter boxes
The gauge of the plastic boxes leaves a little to be desired. And the rims around the top will surely break/crack apart in use outside, from the UV rays of sunlight. For the price, perhaps the planter box is adequate/ acceptable. Would have preferred to pay a little more and gotten a more substantial product!
