The colors are pale and faded looking, as though they were washed about 50 times. The matching quilt is so much more vivid, and together, the set doesn't look 'quite right'. It looks like I had the curtains for years, washed many times, and the bedspread appears to be new. Not a good look.

The valance is absolutely lovely and very well constructed. I expected the patches to be printed on the fabric, but they are actual patches sewn together! Excellent quality and a bargain at that.
