I love this product. I remember searching for recommendations for air filters since my house was built in 1984! I wanted to have as much clean air as possible. This filter works perfectly, the air feels cleaner and less heavy, and it's not loud at all I have it in my bedroom or sometimes in the living room. It connects with the app and you can switch the type of filtration needed, for example, if you are cooking much one day you can select the boost mode, I usually have it in automatic. I do not reject buying it, it works great, and I love it. If you need an air filter this one won't disappoint.

Loved this model - when it used to work

When I walk out my front door, I see a lovely canyon with a river running along it, about a mile down I see a rock quarry with a permanent cloud of dust blowing my way. As the sun rises, I can literally watch the dust in the morning rays coming in around my door & settling on literally everything in my house. When I decided to do something about this, I first installed better weatherstripping around my front door and went in search of a high end air filter to place in the entryway to try to mitigate some of this dust. I thought the Blueair 211i was the answer to my problems, and at first it was. I love the fact that it would self adjust based on the air quality in my Home and it often did. I would be cooking something in the kitchen and hear it turn itself up. And I could track the air quality on the app. However, my unit suddenly stopped working. It would run if I turned it up, but it constantly said the air was perfect inside my home - even with the cloud of dust I could see pouring in my front door and onto the Blueair unit - so would no longer self adjust. It always said my particulates were 0. I corresponded with customer service and they were very helpful sending me instructions on how to reset the unit. When that didn’t work, they replaced it with a brand new unit, which worked for about a week & then did the same thing - saying my air was clean no matter what. Both units could detect the smoke when I blew a match out near it, but it’s just not working in my house in general. I suspect it has to do with connecting to my 5g Wi-Fi Instead of 2.4, but you can’t really force that to make the switch. Getting ready to purchase a different brand and take this unit to the local thrift store. Hopefully it will work better in somebody else’s home.

Avoid. Broken after 17 months, support made me jump through hoops for a week or two then said it's out of warranty, here is 10% off another one bye.

First thing is, this baby is big! Can easily be mistaken for a speaker. It has smart controls and WiFi, and is only a little loud when the fan speeds are in high mode. It has an auto mode, and you can set schedules for it as well, and in the app also shows you the filter life and air quality. We have dogs and a baby, and this has helped soooo much!

Nothing is 100% but this works well. I like the cost of the purifier and filter replacements. My only complaint is it's a little louder than it's smaller counterparts.
