The couch has a lower back than I anticipated, but that's just my lack of understanding of contemporary furniture. A bit more firm that I wanted, but overall it is a nice piece of furniture.

Even better than it looked.
Not high enough. The back of the sofa lower than the front. Perhaps longer legs so it will not sink so low.

I am in love with this sofa! I intend to write reviews, but rarely get around to it. This sofa arrived yesterday and I grinned from ear to ear when it was revealed! The material is so soft, yet the sofa is pretty firm. It's stylish and comfy to sit on, but not the kind of couch you melt into and sleep on. Perfect for a living room. I think it will prove to be durable. The color was described as sand, which is accurate. The overstock picture looks more cream but it is actually the color of sand. If you are looking at this sofa, go ahead and make the purchase. It's really unique!

It's unique and stylish and also very well made. The velvet is soft, and seat cushion is firm, yet comfy. Fits perfectly without overwhelming my living room space, which is on the large side. The price is just right for the quality. I highly recommend it..
