There were several holes indicated on the assembly pamphlet that did not exist on the wood pieces as directed. We need to drill several of our own holes in order to put this base bed together. It took significantly longer than expected due to the extra drilling required.

After purchasing this item, realized my toddler (2 years old) started coughing all night and every night. We initially thought it was cold then after trying to sleep on the bed, we realized there is a heavy smell. After reviewing the comments on this product, appears that this is a common issue due to MDF. I wish we never bought this and now it is going to cost more to dissemble and ship back.

Its very sturdy. Easy to put together. A piece of wood was cracked a little but worked fine. Im gonna call and see if that part can get replaced just in case. Otherwise my kid loves it and I have yet to put up the other one for the other daughter ...Updates coming later

The bed and headboard went together quite easily. We are happy with them both. We are frustrated with FedEx as the package for the bed was broken open and the drawer fronts were all chipped.

I want to like this bed, but we bought one for each of our kids and both have broken. On one of them a drawer face fell off and on the other the piece of wood that goes across the top of the drawers broke off. Both beds wobble at the headboard, they aren't secured very well to the frame. The frame is sturdy, but we're already having to consider replacing both boys bed since they're falling apart.

Wasnt too hard to put together by myself. Probably took less than 2 hours. Very solid construction. I lay on this with my daughter, and together, were probably 250 lbs. It barely creaks. Drawers seem like theyll last a long time.

Love these! we were able to eliminate the dresser in the boys' room so they have more floor space to build cities. took some time to build, but it wasn't hard or complicated.

Bed is great! Sturdy and pretty. The blue color is like wallpapered on, which is pretty standard with particle board type furniture. Gave 4 stars because the drawers get dust in them. I bagged all the items stored below. Doesnt happen with matching dresser and nightstand. Assembly was as expected, good instructions just takes a while.

Made of cheap materials. My teen son had this bed for six months before the wood crumbled on some boards and it fell apart useless. Six months later and I now need to purchase another bed for him.

Although this is a nice looking bed, it fell apart within 6 months. You can't move it around after it's built. Definitely not a solid piece of furniture.

i was skeptical of ordering because of the reviews but i’m glad i got it! i’ve had this been since july and it’s been great! and the drawers are a space saver for sure.

Perfect upgrade bed for a teenager. Gives plenty of space to sleep and the under bed storage is a bonus! We also ordered mattresses from Overstock that are quite comfy for the price.

Pressed wood

I bought 2 of these beds for my grandsons. The pressed board pieces that the mattress sits on are not sturdy at all!! They cracked in half!! Both beds were put in the trash before I made my first payment!! They are pure garbage!! Unfortunately, I did not purchase the extended warranty. I do not recommend this bed at all!! I already gave a review and never got a response and it is not listed here!!

Great bed for my 9 year old! The bed was extremely easy to assemble and the drawers provide fantastic storage. I love the versatility of this bed and that it will be able to accommodate her maturing and always changing decor preferances.

Smells bad/damaged parts

The bed is cute for a small bedroom and a space saver. What I dis like is that a few parts came damaged and Target contact/fix and issue are no help. The bed assembled smells really bad of a chemical treated plywood. Been airing out the whole week and nothing helps, made my kids clothing smell horrendous.

This bed was easy to build and looks just as it is in the picture.

Beautiful

This bed is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I was able to put it together myself. Took a couple hours but not bad. Only thing I don’t necessarily like is the actual frame is a little bigger than a full size mattress so there is gaps between the frame and the mattress but nothing I can’t live with.

The bed is ok for the cost. The finish does scratch easily and the drawers’ quality isn’t that good. All 3 drawers when closed are lopsided when assembling with the predrilled holes. Our toddler loves his bed- I just don’t think it will hold up for more than a year.

Love this bed! Took just under an hour to build it with my husband. Clean and simple but modernrustic look. The drawers are a great size and fit most of my child’s clothing. Sturdy and secure! I love this bed for the function of it without being bulky or taking up too much space. We have another coming for my other son as we will be able to fit two of these beds in their shared bedroom. Love it!
