I like this little pour over coffee maker. I tend to make 1 cup at a time, and I like it strong. This simplifies the process. Plus, it looks cool.

Does exactly what is supposed to, works well. It isn't exactly as pictured, the bronze colored piece to cinch the leather cord is actually black plastic.

This was the first Bodum coffee product I purchased. I accidentally discovered my love of pour over coffee a few years ago and I haven’t looked back. This pour over coffee maker is small but mighty and lasted us years. I eventually upgraded to something bigger (also Bodum) and it works just as well. The coffee stays hot and fresh with great taste. This is definitely a go to for single coffee enjoyers!

Not Happy

This coffee maker does not make hot coffee. Even with boiling water. It takes so long to drip and does not have a cover to keep it hot while brewing. I was excited about this type of coffee maker because I like the concept. I have one similar to it in my camper. But I like hot coffee. Very disappointed.

Purchased for a gift and I am told it is a hit. Always delicious coffee and because it takes time to drip, a little bit of relaxation in the pre and waiting. A satisfying process and result.

Pretty but more expensive now

Used twice a day everyday for a year and 7 months before my mom accidentally broke it when she was trying to help me wash it😥 Very pretty and it’s a great size for me and my husband. The glass is a bit thin but great quality- never stains or scratches. I came back for another one but found out the cost has increased 50% and is the same as the 8 cup one! I don’t need that bigger size but also don’t want to pay the smaller size the same price. I purchased a different kind of pour over pot which is also very pretty, but I think I will definitely get another of this if the price drops.

Love it! Makes delicious coffee. Would recommend still using filters as the tinier grounds bulk up at the bottom. Great space-save if you’re looking to go non electric for your morning coffee routine.

Awesome Compact Coffee Maker

I've been using this coffee maker almost daily since I bought it a few months ago, and I love it. It's perfect for one person, very compact and easy to store, and I've been able to make great coffee with minimal effort and minimal clean-up. Highly recommend.

Beautiful classic design

I love the classic design of this carafe. The filter, however, has plastic in it so I bought an alternative that is all stainless. I hand wash it so it requires a special brush but it’s super easy to clean with the right tool.

Our Favorite Coffee Maker

My husband and I transitioned from using a French press to this little gem two years ago, and we will never go back. Someone asked if we’d like a coffee maker for a house warming gift and we politely declined. This one makes delicious pour over coffee in just a few minutes. We also use the conical paper filters like other reviewers have mentioned. If you are really wanting to try this product, don’t let the bad reviews discourage you. I highly recommend!

Classic

This is a classic pour over with a reusable filter. Good for coffees that may be a touch strong if prepared differently. Takes the edge off acidic varieties. Have also used for other hot beverages effectively. Does allow a little bit of sediment and that is not always a bad thing. Take cork insulator off and can be washed in dishwasher.

Love the look

The first cleaning I took off the cork and leather strap; but, after I just pour a little soap in and rinse well. Gets just as clean without the hassle of taking off parts. Bought it because I didn’t feel that my Keurig wasn’t getting the water temperature hot enough (need between 195 and 205 degrees). Use it mostly for my Bulletproof coffee but still use my Keurig because it’s really more convenient and quicker - hey, when you need your coffee, you need it quick sometimes. The Bodum is really pretty though.

Not what I was expecting..

You cannot use the metal filter alone. The coffee is very weak as the water rushes right through. You need to use filters and the over-the-counter melita filters don't quite fit in there. You have to reshape them which makes the water not flow through correctly as it's folding in. the cork holder looks attractive but is not easy to remove and put back on. I find that a waste of time. You cannot get it wet so you have to take it off if you want to fully wash the container. This just seems like more steps to getting a strong cup of coffee. I have a Melita ceramic dripper and it makes a very strong cup of coffee. I will use that for now and return tht Bodum.

I just received my pour over coffee maker. I am so excited. For years I have been using a cone literally from the 70’s, so when I saw this, (only at Wayfair) I couldn’t resist. The quality is fantastic and the wrapped bodice makes it look super classy. I recommend this highly if your looking for something on the line of a pour over coffee maker.

Meh, it's cute.

So it is aesthetically pleasing. I bought this with the electric tea kettle that seems to match. It's not a slow drip, but that may be by design. It looks nice but the opening is not big enough for me to clean it properly. I have put in the dishwasher and it has held up okay so far.

great pour over pot

I am very happy with my pour over coffee pot. I like the small size, makes 2 large cups. I have a large pour over pot. This pot is made with quality materials. I also will be using this pot when I travel. It will be easy to carry and produce far superior coffee to motel brands.

Great pour over for a 16oz cup

This is great pour over set! I like how the glass is shaped because when pouring my coffee in my cup there’s some bean residue that is left in the glass and it doesn’t run inside my cup! I enjoy it so much! I do wish I would’ve gotten a bigger one though because even if it a “4 cup glass” the bottom of it holds around 16-20 oz but I have to make two separate batches for my husband and I since we drink a lot of coffee.

The current pandemic in America has gotten me appreciating the coffee trips I took for granted. I purchased a Bodum Pour Over coffee maker so I can make my favorite coffee drinks at home without having to worry about my health and safety of my family. The Bodum Pour Over is not only stylish and it's easy to wash. I have been making my favorite coffee drinks at home and expanding my coffee knowledge.

I like the look of it and I really like that I don't have to worry about running out of paper coffee filters anymore. I don't like that the coffee, after it all seeps through, is not all that hot and cools off in the pot very quickly. So your second/third cups are really rather cold. I'm used to a thermal pot with pour over system and I have to say that's much better because coffee stays hot. I may go back to the old system.
