The color of the stool was reddish brown rather than brown, and it does not match. I did not assemble the other three stools and plan to return all for an effort to get something that actually matches. The website does Not convey the actual product color to an accurate degree. I will be returning all products.

Great looking stool

Beautiful stool. Linen-looking covering and nail trim has a high class look. The wood finishing has a more a rustic feel. Nice neutral colors. We added felt pads on the rubber pads on each leg to make it slide better on our floor. Comfortable, too.

The color and height were a match!

The color and height were a match! We needed 2 more stools for our island, but our current stools were purchased several years ago, and have backs. We just wanted these for the ends of the island, and didn't want backs. It was amazing that the gray leather matched perfectly, as did the legs. The only drawback was that it didn't go together perfectly. It is impossible to tighten all the way, so there are small gaps on the sides of the foot bar. Otherwise it would be a 5 star.

Works for me despite being smudged.

I recently had my kitchen island countertop redone with an additional extension of about 10 inches. We have an open concept kitchen which allows me to see the big screen TV while preparing dinner. I wanted a stool that I could sit on at my "prep station" but that would fit completely under the overhang so as not to take up floor space. This counter stool fit the bill.I like the sturdiness of the stool and the seat is very comfortable.
