Always room for one more!

Love the chair and the collection. This was not too difficult to put together once I got the image in my head. All parts and piences were there and in good condition. I would give this 5 stars but I also bought the chair without the arms and that one fit my table better. I will keep this one as an extra chair for when needed. Just think of the height of your table and the height of the arms when purchasing. I did not. Still love the chair though.

The chair is ok and solid. However, I expected it to match the chair with the same name, but no arms. It does not. The back of the chair has a completely different finish. I was very disappointed.

These chairs are beautiful! The finish on them is everything I had hoped for. What I especially love is that the chairs are very comfortable, kid friendly (spills, etc), sturdy but yet light enough for a senior to carry or move around. I bought a group of 8 chairs and the finish is consistent with each box. I'm very happy!

Stylish, Sophisticated.

I love these for my desk and dinner table. Elegant, comfortable, wide for easy sitting. The back is hard wood and is ok to lean on, but can get too hard. Using a shawl over the back to cushion the edges. The instructions were generally ok, but it was hard to discern from the images what side is the front of the seat and what is the back. I had to refer back to the photos on Overstock to understand that the wider part goes in front. The two back legs were hard to screw into place and one hole wasn't centered. All in all the 2-set looks great once finished.

Needed extra chairs for company during the holidays. The seat is definitely more of a dark brown pleather than black. For the price, it’s a pretty solid and comfy chair! Happier with these than the ones I bought for my table originally.

Handsome looking chair however difficult to assemble. Very tricky aligning pre-made holes on one piece to another. Must maintain the chair in a certain angle in order to align the screws. packaging was poor, my chairs came in damaged. Fortunately I was able to have them replaced within a reasonable time frame.

Beautiful but difficult chairs

Wanted to love these chairs. Love the look. But they are hard to put together and even harder to eliminate wobble even after slowly tightening all the bolts at the end. After a maddening and unsuccessful two hours of unscrewing and slowly screwing back in the bolts in an attempt to “de-wobble” the chair, I thought perhaps I can deal with the wobble because I love the design of the chair so much. So I sat in it and tried to pull up to my dining table and found out the measurements were wrong and it is too tall to pull in under the table (in the questions section the manufacturer says 24” top of chair armrest to floor, but it’s actually 25.5”). There was also a significant ding in the backrest of the chair when it came out of the box. I never even opened the others and back to Target they went. :(

I like the chairs but.....

I have worked with tools all my life. Whoever engineered this chair needs to remake the jig the people use to do the basic assembly. Hardly any of the bolts would start due terrible misalignment. I had to remove the seat to get things to sort of line up. Now I have 2 chairs that don't sit on the floor squarely. I want to be paid for assembling them after trouble shooting the questionable alignments.

I love the design of this chair. The arms fit under a standard table height which is hard to find. I ordered 6 chairs and 4 of them had small gauges/scrapes in the piece that supports the back. Instead of sending them back and risk a new chair having the same issue, I fixed it myself. Slight sanding with a fine grit sandpaper and a little walnut stain solved the problem. Assembly took about half an hour per chair. There were 3 screws out of the 6 chairs that spun because the threads in the aligning holes would not catch. I was able to leave them out without compromising the integrity of the chairs. Most of the chairs did not sit perfectly on their legs, wobbling slightly with one leg shorter. This seems to be improving as the weight of people sitting on them is evening it out. Leave the screws slightly moveable for a week or so. Despite the above issues, I love my chairs. Once assembled, they look great and are comfortable to sit in. They are a mix of midcentury modern and modern farmhouse. Just be aware of what you'll need to do.
