I have a heavy ceramic pot that I wanted to keep off the wood deck, and a lot of my usual plastic holders were getting smooshed by the weight. This sturdy plant stand is perfect! I snapped off a couple of edge pieces and put the sized-to-fit stand under the ceramic pot. It doesn't show at all from the sides, and lets the pot drain safely. Very sturdy and holds the pot up great. I saved the extra pieces I snapped off to put under one of my other pots too, so extra value add there.

The product is really only a small platform for a plant made of plastic. It really serves no discernible purpose as far as I can see. Sorry I bought it but too troublesome to return.
