Reception chair

I purchased this black bonded leather arm chair for an office waiting room. So far, the chair has been sturdy and comfortable for our guests.

Good quality as usual .

I thought I was missing the nuts for the bolts until I realized the assembly. It went very well. I am pleased with the product and the delivery. These chairs will make my existence safer. You need arms on a chair to stand up safely for me at my age and for my guests.

Great for busy waiting room

We purchased these chairs for a waiting room office. Liked them well enough, we purchased them for a second waiting room. They eventually wear out, but are so easy to clean and hold up to a lot of traffic! We are now starting to Slowly replace those that are wearing out with the same exact chairs. They work great, sit level. Overall, no complaints

Works well in our home office

Good-looking chair...works well as the guest chair in our home office. Not that comfortable but no one will be sitting there long ...so comfort really doesnt matter.

Boss Black Bonded Leather Reception Chair

Bought these chairs for my office. These chsirs are incredibly durable as I have a pediatric practice so they get a lot of use. I would highly recommend these. Their comfortable too!

I ordered a total of 4 of these chairs for my office. I wanted something that didn't roll around as I find it easier for the guests to focus on the conversation that way. This was a fantastic deal, and exactly what I was looking for.

Very nice sturdy chair. Easy to assemble and looks great! Perfect for my office reception area. I like that it is real leather and is higher quality than most chairs at this price point.

These chairs look so nice and are super comfortable. Patients really like them and have asked where I purchased them. One gal got online in our waiting room and ordered some for herself. They are a little bit of work to put together. You’ll definitely want a drill. I ordered 12 of these and 8 armless ones. It took about two and a half hours to get them all put together. They are packaged very well. I would definitely recommend these chairs and I would buy more if we ever move to a bigger office.

Great chair, but take your time putting it togethe

Please please please follow the directions! Says to loosely put screws in and tighten each one a little bit at a time as you put the chair together. This will avoid the chair from being wobbly when completed. I put it together by myself, but to have a second person to help will cut time significantly.

nice and sturdy

I have ordered 6 of these for my patient rooms. My staff has been very happy with them. They are sturdy and are very professional looking. I had my handy man assemble them so can't comment on assembly, but he did mention he was done with them in a couple of hours w/o any issues. I would definitely recommend them.

Good Merchant, But Not-So-Good Chairs

Instructions were simple. a couple of frames had sharp edges, which had to be trimmed off. The screws were not well aligned and on every chair, at least one of the screws could not be inserted all the way, no mater how I tried. The frame bases were uneven on all 3 chairs making them rock slightly. Uncomfortable to sit.

A step up from other similar chairs

This chair is quite substantial. It is exceptionally comfortable for the type of chair it is - a lot of padding. I bought 2 for my waiting room and patients really like them. The price is great too! They are a tad annoying to put together but I had someone help me and we did both in about 30 minutes.

Good chair but hard to assemble

I liked the price on these chairs but they are very hard to assemble. They come ready to assemble however the assembly process is a very difficult one. Getting the screws to line up with their perspective holes which are deep in the fabric is almost impossible and there are no self tapping screws which would be helpful. I like the final product but it was very frustrating to put together!

The chair really sucks

I bought this chair because is looked good in the picture online and had armrests and a cushion which I needed for my back that was injured a long time ago. So I thought I had the perfect chair. What people said in some of their reviews I discounted but later found were true. I couldn't screw in the one screws in the chair. So I had to get my neighbor to help me. He put in a new screw that didn't come with the chair and had to drill a new whole since the existing didn't hold. It seemed the threads on the screw was stripped. I don't know. But whatever the case it doesn't matter. By drilling a new whole he was able to secure the chair. Also the smell from the vinyl cushions still stinks after having the chair for over a month. And I left both my windows open and the smell has not left. Other reviewers mentions this and was only when I personally experienced it did I really believe it was true. I guess I got one of the bad chairs. But they were made in China where things often come out bad. If I knew that their stuff were made in China I wouldn't have bought it in the first place since I had problems with alot of stuff from there. Also it had a place for wheels, but I didn't see the wheels which you to buy separately on the website. All in all, I shouldn't have returned the chair, but because don't want to go through the hassle of a return I kept it. Usually overstock products are good, but this one was not.

Nice look but comes with defects

We ordered eight of these chairs for our reception area and were unpleasantly surprised when we realized they did not come fully assembled. The National Business Furniture Rep said they would. It took several hours for my co-worker and I to assemble these chairs. They seem simple enough to assemble but they seem to all come with defects where the holes in the wood do not line up right and screwing the screws all the way in is a real hassle. If you do not plan on using an electric screw driver when assembling these chairs I would rethink this purchase. Also the chairs do not line up flush together, a quality I was looking for. Other than then that they do have a great look and are pretty comfortable.

Not Easy to Put Together

We ordered the chair for a home office. It looked great. It was packaged so brilliantly that at first we thought the screws were not included...but they were...they were just already screwed to the chair. After unscrewing the screws from the place they were put for shipping purposes, we (my husband) "tried" to screw them in the designated places. this was tough. I didn't think we would be able to successfully get all the screws in but my husband persevered and succeeded. Not easy. I am not sure I would order again from overstock... The final product is good, but was it worth the hassle?
