Returning, it's useless.

Clamp doesn't hold securely, bulb was missing. Clamp design is ridiculous, puts the forces in the wrong place so the whole lamp is pulled toward the floor. The lamp itself was fairly well made, it's a shame the clamp design is so bad.

The shade isn’t very secure, falls off and dangles on the light bulb if touched.

Nice and lightweight. Lamp is easy to adjust and move. The LED bulb is nice and bright.The only negative is the lampshade is difficult to twist and attached. It doesn’t twist very much and has come loose on me. But overall big improvements in the weight since I bought one about 20 years ago.

This is the desk lamp I've been looking for. I placed it on a corner edge and because I can move and adjust the lamp as I need it, makes it user friendly And I always have the light I need when I need it. I highly recommend this product.

Bostitch Led Desk Lamp VLF100

Had nice brightness, but was not 36" long as the packaging indicated. I needed a minimum of 36" and it was less than that. Cheaply made too.

it's exactly what i needed

it's perfect for what i needed however it was missing the nut that holds the on/off switch. but, i hoard nuts, bolts, screws, etc and had one that fit.

Excellent

This is my husband light for his work bench. After a few years they finally wear out after being in the garage(hot) and hit by “stuff” in the garage. But not that expensive to replace!

Light switch stopped working and clamp is poor

Less than a year after purchase, the light switch stopped working reliablly. I would switch the lamp on and after a minute the light would go out. Tapping the light would sometimes make it come back on. Even when the switch was in the off position, tapping the light would make it come on. Also, the clamp does not securely hold the lamp to my table. Look at it cross-eyed, and the lamp will fall down.

A Classic

This lamp is just like the one I had when I was in high school 60 years ago. Once you have it aimed where you want it stays in place until you are ready to move it. Use it in your office or attach it to a side table in your den - it fits in everywhere. It comes with a very bright LED bulb that I may change out, and sometimes it seems a little top heavy, but hey, so was the one on my desk when I was a kid.

Don't buy this

It's fine, with one exception: the clamp that holds the lamp to the table top is very poorly designed and is always slipping off. There are better ways to design this. I own a 50+ year old desk lamp of the same style that uses a metal(not plastic) clamp and it works flawlessly. The plastic clamp on this one is just garbage. Don't buy this lamp or other similar Bostich lamps.

The perfect lamp for my desk. it was pretty easy to get together and secured to the desk. I like that it’s adjustable and I can move it depending on what’s going on. Sometimes I just wanted to focus on my work on the other times. I need it to work for a zoom call and it does both very well.

It works excellent for me, however...

While I would recommend this lamp to a friend, it would be a friend without kids. I have no problems or complaints with the lamp, and it is serving me well. The however part is it is my opinion it would not stand up to kids being kids, handling the lamp. Works excellent for me.

Great Desk Lamp!!!

I ordered two of these for our office and we love them! They are easy to assemble and get set up and we like that they are tall so they can actually be above the desk and shine down. They also take up very little space so it's a great lamp and a space saver. ALSO, I don't like LED so I swapped out the bulb for an incandescent bulb that is the same WATT and it is lovely.

It's great!

I am an artist using a large Wacom Cintiq tablet that takes up most of my desk. There is not a lot of room for little lamps. I love how this lamp can clamp onto the edge of my desk and extend over my work area when I need it. It is very nice to be able to push it out of the way when I'm done with it. I'm very happy with this product. It's a great deal in my opinion. I like the daylight bulb it comes with as well. NOT yellowy.

Great Lamp and a space saver!!

Easy to set up and clamp on. Saves so much space which is great for my small work area. The adjustability is my favorite feature. I bought a second for my sons desk and he loves it for homework and crafting. Nice design and great quality.

Awesome lamp!

Love this lamp!! Looks super cool on my desk and gives great light. The clamp mount is great because it allows me to have more desk space. I think that's the best part about this lamp that other ones don't have because I use my desk to draw and usually have a lot of paperwork and I need all the space I can get! It was really simple and easy to install and I'm usually not good with that type of stuff. I would recommend this lamp to at-home office workers, and those who prefer to work at night because it gives off the perfect amount of light without being too harsh or annoying. You can also adjust the lamp to what you prefer.

Perfect for my purposes

Got this to replace a similar one I'd owned for 25+ years. This one fits my more modern industrial style and lights up my work space wonderfully. Very adjustable and holds it's placement much better than my old one.

It needs help

The clamping compression has a loose nut and hand plastic knob to tighten the clamp. I superglued that nut and knob together. Then the clamp failed to tighten it to stop the rest of the lamp from falling. To not getting tools to tighten up the base I did screw that base to the 5/8 " thick shelf. I also replaced the too-bright LED bulb with a smaller bulb I will like more.
