Looks great but not durable

Looks great. Not very durable. Bork after about a years use. The wooden slats that support the bed are too few and spaced too far a part. They make up for it by using small pegs that add to the support under the slats but they are small. If weight isn't perfectly distributed then these pegs buckle and the slats give way. This causes strain on other pegs and slats. Once one peg went it was shortly after the entire frame had broken. Just outside warrantee so I'm stuck with the remnants. Hopefully I can re-use the headboard with a better metal frame or something, the headboard is beautiful.

Need box spring because of too much gap headboard

Bed doesn't look like as pictured, you would need box spring because there is a huge gap between head board & base, so just mattress will not fill up the gap. Incorrect picture shown. No manual provided for assembly. Will not recommend. Shipping as fine even though didn't receive tacking email but got the delivery

Gorgeous Bed

The bed is gorgeous. We paid extra to have it brought in to our room, install it and take away the wrappings all for an extra *** . Very worth the cost. The bed is well made, but the headboard, oddly does not sit closely to the wall! However the color came in pleasantly the right color we hoped for.. I would recommend the bed. it's sturdy and very well made except for the one component I mentioned! Also the rug it sits on we already had one but loved it so much we bought a second for the master!

I needed a bed quickly. This bed came in just a few days and was very easy to put together. I wish that they had board was just a little bigger so it would be below the mattress. There is a small space between my mattress which is very thick and the headboard. I was able to place it in the room where you don't see the side of the bed.

Good buy

The bed came quickly and without damage. The instructions were simple and I (a grandma with a bad back and damaged hand) put it together by myself. The architect seems sound for the price. My ONLY grievance is they sent the wrong color. I ordered ivory and got light grey. It didn't dawn in my until I had it put together and looked at it. Then I double checked my order. Oh well. It's not that bad. I'll just have to order different bedding.also it's very low to the ground. More so than my daughters platform bed. I thought they'd be a standard height.

Bought for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. I shopped around and compared prices and I kept coming back to overstock ,the only problem was "WHICH ONE "to get? They have such a large variety and at a great price. The set up was fast and easy for my husband but then again he is very handy around the house. I'm sure it's easy enough though for 1st timers, even my daughter wanted to set it up herself. We definitely would recommend this to family and friends.

Honest to God I was so upset!! The outside looks so beautiful! Then you send me 4 little sticks to support the mattress! That won't even hold my 100 pound daughter. Seriously?! What's wrong with your company! Extremely! If I could give you less then one star I would! Worse money I ever spent! Will never spend another penny on your company!!

LOVE love love this hammered nail headboard/frame. Super easy to put together--I did it with my 2 kids, ages 9 and 11. It looks very elegant and can't beat the price. Note that in the photo, the bed is a queen mattress without box springs. I think you definitely need box springs to make this look good, if you are looking for more of a platform bed, this is not it. But I am ordering boxsprings today because the headboard is such a good fit.

This bed is as described. Color true to picture. Nice looking bed and, affordable. I bought it for my college son's apartment. It was easy to transport and set up in less than 1 hour. It seems to be cheap construction yet is sturdy. I had to buy a box spring...it doesnt have enough slats for only a mattress and without the box spring, it would sit too low and also have a big gap from mattress to headboard.

The bed itself it's pretty and elegant. It comes all inside the head frame, all pack up really neatly. No funny smell to report. I order the brown color, it's beautiful, assembly was easy too. My only objection to this bed it's the height. It's really low. I had to order a 6 inch box spring to bring the 10 inch mattress to an aceptable seating hight and I am 5"8. So don't order without measuring first you comfortable seating hight.

The bed is very nice looking, and it feels sturdy. However, it wasn't easy to assemble. There were two side boards (for each side) requiring that they be bolted together. I would have preferred one solid board. The headboard and footboard were assembled, but I hadn't noticed in photos that the fabric was seamed down the middle. The only issue we had with assembly was we were shorted 4 bolts. After a trip to *** we got it put together in about 2 hours. The color "ivory" was actually more of a light gray. Still with these disappointments we like the bed.

Great bed! I love the charcoal grey color that I ordered. This was a last minute purchase to help accommodate an unexpected house guest. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Not only does the bed look nice and fit in the room perfectly, but it was also very easy to put together. The instructions were detailed and straight forward.

I was hesitant at first when purchasing this bed frame and headboard set. I read some reviews that weren't so great. When I received the frame, I was pleasantly surprised! It was excellent quality for such an affordable price! It was very easy to put together and instantly made my bedroom look less like a regular room and more like a luxurious hotel room! I had purchased a new mattress before I purchased this frame and I wasn't sure at first if I should purchase the box spring as well. I listened to one of the reviews on here that said you should buy or keep your box spring. My bed came out looking much higher than that in the picture of this product but I feel that it actually looks even better! Thanks to the value of this product, I didn't have to break the bank to turn my bedroom into a place that I look forward coming home to each night!

Disappointed because I was shipped the wrong color. I ordered Charcoal but received Brown. Unfortunately it wasn't confirmed until after the frames were put together. I decided to live with the different color because of the amount of work needed to return the items was too much at that point. It only takes 1 person about 45 minutes to put together a Twin frame. Quality matches the prices paid, which is perfect for a spare bedroom.

I was very hesitant about ordering this bad through the mail. When arrived in a small but heavy box I almost sent it back, to be honest with you. I was encouraged to first put it together. I had a friend put it together for me as a single female. It took him about an hour to do so. They were surprised how easy it was and how sturdy it is. I would have preferred more support since I didn't get the memory foam mattress. So I will be meeting a boxspring. Other than that this is doing a perfect job and my daughters room.

Shipping was fast! We bought this for our guest bedroom. Quality is good, easy to assemble, and it looks like a khaki linen. Some folks said the beige looks like a light grey. Our room has bright lighting so it looks beige to me. We only wanted to use the mattress. Therefore, added a 1/2 inch thick ply wood sheet which helps provided strong support. Modern, clean line, and classy. Highly recommended.

We've had the bed now for about two weeks. It shipped very fast and came just about as expected. As someone else noted, the ivory is actually a light gray, but having read other reviews and from the pictures could tell it favored gray over brown. The bed is very comfortable and was fairly easy to put together. It took my husband and me maybe 20-30 minutes tops. Some of the pieces were dinged up, but not where someone would see it or where it would impact stability so we didn't think it was worth returning or raising a fuss over. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase and have enjoyed some restful nights. One thing I didn't see in other reviews and I wanted to point out, this is one where you would want both a box spring and a mattress. There are four slats which would not be enough with a mattress alone. Just wanted to pass this along in case others had the question I did and hoped I hadn't just paid for a box spring I no longer needed!

The bed was packaged well and easy to assemble. It is extremely low to the ground. We got an extra tall box spring and even still I'm considering if it would look too dumb to lift it on risers. The platform slats are a little creaky, so kids shouldn't jump on this one and it's another reason why I don't want my older relatives to have to fall down onto it to get into bed. Overall I do like it though; it looks nice.
