Shipped direct from Brantina. Was packaged nicely and then bubbled wrapped inside a larger box. I was worried ordering online that it would come dented but they did a great job.

Best bread bin ever!

I've been through a few trying to find one that works for space and storage. This design holds a lot of bread, rolls etc, and you can use the top to put things on. Well made, beautiful design and sleekly blends in to the kitchen!

Ideal bread bin

This bread bin is light but sturdy, well made and easy to keep clean. It's a good size with plenty of space inside for bread, teacakes, rolls and more. The fall front design means that the top of the bread bin can be used as a shelf to put things on. Very happy with my purchase

Very good quality and construction

Nice looking bread bin

I had to return the first one as it arrived badly dented. The replacement is very nice and easily holds three loaves of bread. The stainless steel bread bin looks good on my new kitchen worktops. It's made from thin metal and I would prefer the front drop-down lid to click securely shut both sides but it seems to close a bit awkwardly due to the flimsy construction. I don't think it will last as long as my old enamelled bin but I'm quite happy with it.

Perfect Modern Breadbox!

Excellent quality. Metal Breadbox resembles a high quality toolbox, an industrial touch which I love. Sleek matte black powder coat finish. Hinge is silky smooth and easy to engage using the built-in C-shaped grab handle. Fits 4 supermarket size bread loaves easily, stacked 2x2. Looks wonderful in exposed pantry shelving next to my kitchen. Would highly recommend this Breadbox!

Our great bread bin

After many years of excellent service our Brabantia Matt steel fall front bread bin had to be replaced. The best bread bin available was another identical Brabantia bread bin. An easy, excellent choice.

Large, easy to use and clean

I was looking for a bread bin I could keep jars on top of, so this fitted the bill nicely. It's spacious inside and specially suited to large, square loaves. It's easy to clean and went well with my other stainless steel kitchen items. Reasonably priced too

Looks Elegant, Great Size.

We bought this bread bin because it was wider than most and we wanted to hide necessary, but not too attractive things on our countertop. In that respect it works really well and does not look out of place. It looks elegant, but is not as robust as I expected. For instance, I would not feel confident storing anything on the top. However, it does come with a 10 year warranty, so that is good. For our needs it is perfect.

Room for improvement!

Good price from Robert Dyas and reasonably prompt delivery. Quality of assembly not brilliant for such an expensive product. Top edges of side panels are badly formed. If I had noticed this on delivery I would have returned it.

Great size

Beautiful bread bin. Great size. 2 small loaves plus bag of rolls fit in easily. Great for the pantry as its lid folds down at the front. Good magnetic clasp. Overall quality is very good. Good value for money

Review of Brabantia Brilliant Steel Fall Front Bread Bin

Just love my Brabantia Brilliant Stainless Steel bread bin. Previously had one but gave it up when we moved house and it was sorely missed. Very generous internally. Mine currently houses 2 loaves of bread (with room for rolls) & 2 packets of hot cross buns internally, with 2 cartons of eggs on top (still with room for other things). Being able to store things on top, means the worktop never looks cluttered. Having the brilliant shine means it doesn't detract from anything else on the countertop and the fall front means easier to get at the bread. Got it at a tremendous price with Next, so that was an extra bonus. Base is not as strong as my previous bin, but that is minor. The knobbly pattern on the base allows air to circulate, so your loaf stays fresher for longer. Don't worry about fingerprint marks. Just wipe with a damp cloth and then polish off with a dry cloth. Always looks like it is brand new. Looking forward to getting many years of use from it. So happy!

Brabantia Front Fall Bread Bin

I like these bread bins, they last for about 10 years then the small connection attaching the lid to the sides breaks and the fall stops working. So I replace them. Fixing to the wall is a great idea as saves on cluttering the workspace.

Excellent bread bin

Excellent quality, very smart and functional design. Replacing one exactly the same that's over 20 years old, still doing the job but a bit tatty. Reassuring that the quality has been maintained. Would recommend.

Worth the money

l ordered another brand bread box that was highly recommended on Amazon and the quality was horrible and it wasn't fingerprint proof as was stated. I looked at this Brabantia bread box at the same time, but decided not to spend the extra money. That was a big mistake! In this case, it was worth it. The quality is far superior and is fingerprint proof as stated.

bread storage

The perfect bread bin sensible shape can actually store full size loaves without squashing them. Very convenient that you have the choice of wall mounted or worktop level (I prefer wall mounted as keeps my workspace clear.) Love the colour looks good in my kitchen, but other colours available. Being metal it's easy to wipe clean making it more hygienic than some other finishes. Great product.

Wish I had bought this before now!

I am delighted with this bread bin and wish I had known about it years ago! The magnetic closing works very well and we can fit a lot of bread, crackers and biscuits inside. It looks great too in our kitchen. Highly recommended!

Stylish yet practical bread bin.

This is a great bread bin for our new kitchen, to replace an old enamel square one. Things I like about this: as worktop size is at a premium, this fits well under a cupboard, but can store lots of bakery products ie bread, crumpets, rolls. The pull-down lid allows you to easily see whats there without having to rummage around. It looks sleek and modern - like our kitchen! More storage available on top, for tea canister, mugs etc. Easy to keep clean. Good purchase.
