It has a strong odor
This jute rope says that it's natural and biodegradable. It does not say that it's chemically treated, But the odor coming from it is concerning. I purchased this To make the climbing wall for my hermit crabs. Concerned now that it may not be safe for that use. It is very nice looking twine though.
