Love this rug!
We got the 9x12 in green, but we also have this very same rug, same size in red too. Love the low pile and yes the folds do fall out. We use corner grippers on these rugs instead of rug pads. Pretty colors, soft on the feet and durable!
Love it! It’s exactly what I needed for the breakfast nook! The stools will glide easily over the rug without getting caught. Also if the kids spill anything it will be so easy to clean. Love the color and pattern it’s just as described! It was extremely light to carry in and the inner edge was only slightly curved. I think maybe an hour or so with weight on it and it should be perfectly flat. Highly recommend!
Upgrading my review
I’ve had this rug for roughly six months and it has grown in me. It looks nice, is soft, and is durable. We have it in our finished basement in the TV area, and my teen kids are on it frequently. It’s very forgiving with spills. Here was my originals review: This rug has more of a southwestern look than I had expected. As another reviewer pointed out, the pattern is printed on the rug, and the rug is more like a soft mat rather than a true rug with a pile. It is soft, though, and is comfortable to walk and sit on with a rug pad underneath. I don’t love it, but I am going to keep it.
Second time’s the charm!
After losing a favorite hall runner to water damage after a fire, I was not able to find another like it. First ordered a plush runner in a blue pebbles pattern, elsewhere, and hated it. Every footprint showed. So I extended my search and found this one on Overstock. It works well with my orientals, and I’m very pleased. I have it on a good, thick rug pad, which I’d recommend. Posting on ********, another friend has already asked for the name so she can find it.
Looks great but pattern is very clearly printed
Cons:
Nice design + Good deal + Budget Friendly
This rug is really nice. I tend to go for neutral colors, but I wanted something more lively and kept coming back to this. Also, I have dogs and they tend to christen every rug I own, so I try to spend as little as possible when buying rugs, and the price for this rug was right. At first I was slightly skeptical, but it’s actually really nice! I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the package. The printing is done well, along with the edge stitching, and whatever it’s made with feels almost foam like. Side note — yes, it’s thin, but what rug isn’t these days, so if you want more “give” when you walk on it, then consider buying a felt rug pad - problem solved. And obviously it’s not an extravagant oriental rug so you can’t even compare it to that. Also, as the title clearly states, it’s a printed rug. So yes, upon close examination, guess what?, it looks printed. If you don’t want that, then don’t buy this rug. But, if you’re a budget buyer, this is a good buy. Plus it’s brightness will make you happy every time you look at it.
Beautiful, thin, printed mat
I like to read strong opinions, both positive and negative, and they’re spot on with this rug. It’s definitely some sort of printed pattern, as opposed to being a true rug. The one-star reviewers say it looks cheap and is too thin. The five-star reviews say it’s beautiful. Well, I just put mine down and I love it. If you’re a purist, just skip this and get a true Persian/Chinese wool rug. But I replaced a wool/silk rug in my living room (a rug that cost me $** twenty years ago) with this and I say it looks lovely. The thing I like about these rugs is that they showcase color combos which are very hard to find in true Persian carpets. I really wanted to move towards garden greens and this rug scratches the itch. The lack of pile will be great for vacuuming up dust and cat hair. For the price, I’m thrilled. And folks, try the green! It’s really gorgeous.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
