Good and sturdy

The performance of this not so expensive grill was way over my initial expectations. Lots of heat from its three burners, enough cooking space to make barbecue for a group of up to 10 people.

A great made in Canada BBQ

The Monarch is manufactured in Canada so all the parts are there, with easy assembly and all parts fit properly. the 3 burners produce excellent heat - high is not necessary as everything can be cooked on medium. Overall a very good Canadian product.

Of a quality

This is my 2nd Monarch Broiler King BBQ, the 1st one lasting 15+ yrs. It's of a quality and, with one arm down, fits nicely on your back deck.

Horrible BBQ to build

This was one of the most difficult BBQ's to assemble due to the bad assembly manual, which had poor diagrams. I bought this model because I used them at a resort we go to and was very pleased with quality of this model, but when mine came I noticed it wasn't as sturdy and the hood was much lighter. It still cook well, but I'm disappointed with the quality.

First box was delivered a bit rough- and during assembly noticed the bent up parts that were damaged.

Broil king bbq

Broil king bbq seem to be the best on the market. Works great.

BRAND NAME DOES NOT HOLD UP TO EXPECTATIONS

EXPECTED MORE FROM A BROIL KING 390. BURNERS FAR TOO UNEVEN OF HEAT AT SAME POSTIONS ON DIALS. UNIT CANNOT WORK IF A WIND OUT AS KEEPS GETTING FLAMES BLOWN OUT. IGNITOR NOT THE BEST AS HAVE TO LIFT GRILLS AND PLATE TO USE A LONG LIGHTER TO GET GOING OFF AND ON. WILL NEVER BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN.

We had such a nice summer with my Brook King. Easy to work with, good temperature, the food is delicious. I usually also cook some hamburgers during the winter!!! My best purchase in 2023 by far.

Great product, good company.

I'm replacing an older Monarch with a new one. After 10 years solid service, this bbq was great value. Storage issues caused a little premature aging, the new one will be more tenderly cared for. Love the product. This company gave me great service when I needed a replacement burner after 7 years and the whole BBQ always performed well.

A great simple reliable BBQ. Plenty good size for a group of six or eight, perfect for two.

Great Service - Temperature Guage

I purchased a Broil King Monarch 320 because a three burner unit is all we needed. I purchased the BBQ from Lowe's online and received it May 11, 2023. After Season Cast Iron Grids for an hour because my temperature gauge did not go over 200 Deg.C I suspected the temperature gauge. I used a hand held Infared measuring device and the indication was almost double the BBQ grill gauge. I contacted Broil King and explained the situation and with in days they shipped me a new gauge. This one reads in the ball park and I am a happy camper.

This grill is better constructed and has higher heat for searing the my old Weber grill. A bit challenging to build but worth the time. Best price I found was on Wayfair

Burners and related parts corrode quickly

Burner tubes, flav-r-waves, dividers and supporting brackets corroded less than a year after purchase. Replaced all of them at my cost and the replacements corrodes very quickly as well.
