[Rewarded Review] I suppose it’s OK.

Our griddle has debris in the coating that may have been on the surface when it was coated at the factory, or there may have been trash in the non-stick coating when it was applied to the griddle surface; either way, it is shoddy craftsmanship. The griddle works but not optimally; it is functional but not a joy to use because I am very annoyed by the product's makers' lack of quality control inspection. We also don't like how the splatter guard attaches to the griddle.

Best NON-STICK GRIDDLE EVER!

Great Griddle, the non-stick is really a true non stick. Heavy duty for constant use. I have had 4 griddles and none come close, with durability.

[Rewarded Review] What has happened to the best griddle made?

We have purchased 3 or 4 of these over the years because they were always the best griddle on the market. Well let me tell you, this is no longer the truth. This is the 3rd one I have ordered this month. The first 2 came from Amazon since they were cheaper there and the 3rd one came from Walmart. I ordered from Walmart to see if maybe Amazon had received 2nd quality ones. That is not the case either. All 3 griddles came with a rough coating on the top. You can actually see the tan flakes of casting sand all under the non-stick surface. The sand is not supposed to be there. It is supposed to be cleaned off prior to spraying on the non-stick surface. Why is that a big deal? Well, when the sand does start coming off, it will also remove the non-stick surface and you will be eating that along with your food. How hard is it to just clean the surface prior to coating it???? This is the 3rd and final purchase. Regretfully, I will have to find a different brand. I am so sad about this because I have depended on their high quality for years. A great brand that has lost their vision of what made them so popular.

Seems like a serious design flaw

First time I plugged it in it began to smoke and most of the smoke was coming from the drip tray. I had difficulty pulling it out because it was melting to the heating element underneath! We almost had a fire. Seems like a serious design flaw!

Gift to a happy wife

Gave as a gift to my wife. She is SO very happy. Griddle works as advertised, is quite large and easy to use. She looks forward to many meals being prepared on it.

Would purchase again

I?ve had the griddle about a year and use it mostly for pancakes and grilled cheese. It has some zones that don?t heat as evenly since the pancakes cook more quickly closer to the edge. If I cook 6 pancakes at once, the ones in the corners are not evenly golden. It?s not bad, but they don?t look as pretty as they do if you make one big pancake in the center. It?s worth it to me though to be able to cook more pancakes at once.

I used this in a commercial setting to get by and it was great. I love this, It saved my project. I do know that there are better stuff out the but this worked great.

Great grilling solution

This griddle made cooking bacon & pancakes, so much easier, than on a stove top. I no longer have the lingering odors, using it on my screened in porch. The surface seems to heat evenly.

Best electric grill/griddle

I have owned a few different cheap electric griddles in my time...none of them compare to this one. It is far and above the best non stick grill I have owned and I love cooking on it.

The griddle cooks French toast evenly. This is our second one because we like it so much.

Hi praise from Americas Test Kitchen so I bought it. Pretty even heating from coast to coast, easy to clean and large surface. Heavy duty power cord and thermometer control. The removable backsplash is convenient to help you turn over your food with a spatula.

This is absolutely the worst thing I have ever gotten through overstock. I got it at Christmas 2020. I bought it because I asked for a commercial griddle because I had gotten to the place I was using my old griddle for every supper and seemed to be so convenient to leave out. I wanted it a little bigger because I'm always making a lot of food. It advertised commercial grade and larger then most and had a shield in back to keep grease from getting all over. When I got it the nonstick material did not look right and the back splash was separate in which you have to put on yourself. The metal piece is so sharp that I've cut my fingers twice and it takes the nonstick surface off when you put it on. After a few times I did not use it anymore and the nonstick just got worse and worse every time I've used it. Basically just coming off. I ordered at time of Covid and just wondering if poor workmanship because of Covid or I don't have any other idea why commercial griddle would be such a joke. I have been so dissatisfied and annoyed with the price I put out for a piece of junk.It also had a feature that said back legs higher than front so grease flow to front. The little clips that are supposed to stay are constantly coming unlocked and falls. I would never recommend this to anyone and write a review so you will not get tricked into buying this product.

This is the best griddle I've ever used, hands down. Lasts forever (bought this one as a gift for someone else) and cooks more evenly than any griddle I've ever used. Highly recommended.

Broil King: Simple, sturdy & easy to use.

A well made griddle with no hot spots. Easy to clean and heats up in a flash.

Not Impressed

The sticker that fell off after 3 wash's says Broilking, But this griddle must be a Broilking discard because the surface is not flat and has ridges where the heating element's are located and creates a indent in the center of the service. I have owned the same Broilking for years (the nonstick surface wore off) so it was time to replace it. Should have bought from a real store.

Great grill when you have some guests over. Wider than most of the grills sold in home stores, but narrow enough to put on a kitchen bar.

Heavy duty temperature control and cord, non stick surface and has adjustable feet to allow for positive drain of bacon grease or any other oils and such. Cleans up easy and has a feel of higher quality to the other products on the market for the same price. Great buy.
