Very functional, can use swing arm or keep as standard lamp,

The lamp is attractive, and surprisingly heavy. I really liked the first one so I then decided to order another so I would have a matching pair for my living room. The shade really looks and feels like leather. I love the swing arm. The second lamp I am having trouble with the harp and keeping the shade on straight because the finial screw is very crooked so I’m a little disappointed in it. Overall I think the lamps are worth the price. I may contact customer service and see if I can get another one.

First purchase

The lamp is attractive, but does have two issues. The shade has a slight dent in it and the harp does not sit firmly causing the lamp to blink when trying to adjust it. The price was right, though.

A COUPLE OF MINOR ISSUES

Received it today and was very pleased with the style, especially the swing out arm. As others have posted, the shade tilts slightly. I initially thought it was the harp, but the movable arm assembly is the culprit. That's what's has the tilt. This drives the OCD in me crazy, but I can live with it. The more pronounced problem is the shade - it's too 'short'. At 7 1/2 inches, the socket assembly and harp are clearly visible. I can easily replace the shade, but I shouldn't need to do so.

Lamp is just what was needed.

Needed a lamp for my side table. Most of my fixtures are the oil-rubbed bronze, so this was perfect! Very well made, quite heavy so the cats have not knocked it off yet!
