Secure Umbrella Stand

Extremely sturdy. Keep in mind that you will need to fill with sand for extra security. This is a well made item; you will be happy with your purchase!

It’s okay if you don’t move your umbrellas around.

The base is heavy which is what I was going for. It came with scratches which I can get over. ... But, where the post inserts to the base is not very well made. I wouldn’t buy this again given that we like to move our umbrellas to optimize shade. I anticipate I’ll have to replace it within a year or two (hopefully not sooner).

The stand is not a easy to move as we hoped and when we received it has sticker stating not to tilt by the umbrella post holder, but there is no handle or other place to get leverage. I ended up having to put all my weight on the end by the wheels to get it to tilt enough to have the wheels engage with the ground to be able to use the able to move it. We wanted it for the weight and keeping our umbrella sturdy in the wind and it does seem to do that.

Dissatisfied

Unfortunately, the quality of the product was not as I expected. At some point, the holding pipe was no longer aligned 90 degrees to the base plate and become quite loose. Also weight of the base (75 LB) plate was not enough for the wind conditions in my backyard, so I ended up getting larger (140 LB) base
