A good idea, but problems making it work correctly.

Bought these to help secure newly purchased patio umbrellas. The recommendation was to add 50 lb. of play sand. The fill hole is narrower than most funnels, so you need to improvise. Worse, if the sand has any moisture in it, the sand will clump and pouring in sand becomes impossible. We resorted to filling the stands with water (which will have to be drained before winter), then adding sand bags on top of the stand to stabilize it.

Spend a few more dollars and buy something better

Spend a few bucks more. This won't last but a summer or two.

easy set up umbrella base

easy to set for the umbrella i purchased, less than ten minutes to fill with sand.

Plastic not sturdy

Plastic and not worth the money. Do not purchase bc you will be disappointed and will have to pay the restock fee and shipping to return.

Bad product

It was a offer purchase. Even after filling it with 50lb of sand it fall or blow over easy. No a good unbellu stand at all.

I wouldn't buy this again

I bought 3 of these for the umbrella's on my business patio. They were time consuming and tedious to fill with sand. I have had them a little over a month and all 3 knobs that are on them to hold the umbrella in place, have fallen off. Cannot get them back on.

Good stand

The color matched the deck furniture and the stand provided the stability we needed with our deck umbrella. Seems like we made the right choice for our needs.

Poorly made and slightly broken when I received it. Very disappointed for what I paid.

The thread on the bottom that secures to the base is brittle and if you want it tight it will break. You must be satisfied with it having very little pressure applied to it. I had to drill out and replaced it with a bolt washer and nut. I would not buy this again.

Umbrella Base

Works well, we use sand. If there is a strong gust, will fall over unless through a table. Unstable at times on it's own.

Excellent quality. Well made. Using stands for a different purpose - holding up poles under a boat cover that kept falling over in high wind conditions. These stands work great. I am going to buy two more of them.

Customer service was misleading

I am very disappointed because the person that sold it to me told me that I would not have to fill it with anything. I know that in the description which I should have read before I agreed to order and it says that the "sand is not included." But the person that sold it to me was misleading and told me that I would not have to fill it with anything.

I was looking for a umbrella stand that was waited but I needed one that had a collar Nick three more secure. This one was perfect! It not only looks great but it holds my 8 foot umbrella firmly in place, couldn't ask for a better product. I plan on purchasing another one just as soon as I get my other umbrella. Very very happy!
