DIYers beware

Don't ask how I got three sets of these. But .... Installing a wall mount faucet on stainless utility sink is an adventure. I went through two sets before finally getting install, leak free, on the third set. The kit works fine but install isn't a gimme. If you are not experienced with this type of install do your research.

Finally found fittings that work

Needed to fasten wall faucet to steel back of sink. Tried all the other stores and plumbing supply houses. Found this online and shipped fast and worked great.

Nipples are too short and have straight, not tapered, threads

The nipples have straight threads instead of tapered threads that they should have to fit into the elbow and standard faucet. To get these to seal I put 8 wraps of Teflon tape, starting 1/4 inch away from the, spiraling toward the end to give it some taper, then an additional 5 wraps over that. One of the joints I couldn't get to seal with tape so I sweated (soldered) the threaded joint. In addition, the nipples weren't long enough to tighten down and use all of the included washers to hold it to the thin stainless steel sink backslash. I made it work by leaving out the metal compression washers. Luckily the holes in my sink were small enough that they didn't seem to be really needed. I gave it one extra star because this was cheaper than anything else I found, and most of the more expensive ones have a straight nipple as well.. It seems odd that someone doesn't make a decent kit like this for a decent price.
