Very sturdy and beautiful desk. This is a very good size desk. I wanted something that wasn’t too small or big. Just what I needed.

Hinges broke on the pull out drawer. Unable to find replacements due to odd size of hinges. It was delivered broken.

First off, this is not a small, lightweight desk. Be sure to take measurements, and have someone to help move it, especially if it is going upstairs. It is very heavy.I am impressed with the quality—solid wood, all of the parts were there, all of the predrilled holes lined up, and the directions and pictures were accurate and easy to follow. I had a bit of trouble getting the bottom of the two side drawers to fit in the pre-drilled grooves, but it did not hinder completion. I was surprised and delighted that the center drawer is hinged and the front drops down to make a nice laptop pull out table, a feature I missed in the description.I purchased the unfinished desk, wood knobs on drawers, and it is pleasing, goes with everything and I will likely leave it unfinished. It is going to be great for my watercolor work, also as a sewing table, and as a home office desk.Also want to say, Home Depot was spot on with notifications, and the pick up was easy. The box did not fit in my car, but the young man was helpful in opening it up, and placing all of the pieces into the car, — not the standard expected, this was definitely over and beyond. Highly recommend. Less
