Looks Great but Tabs were Bent

As you can see from photo #1 the two tiered one piece wood and metal wall shelf unit looks very nice on our kitchen wall. My wife is very happy with it, but it was frustrating for me to put up. When I removed it from the box I noticed one small defect; the metal tabs on either side that hold the unit on the wall were bent in such a way that wouldn’t work right. Photo #2 is AFTER I tried to bend the tabs to the proper position so I could then attach the shelf unit to the wall. The tab was bent much worse than this originally. My wife didn’t want to wait, so to avoid the hassle of returning it and waiting for a new unit and hoping the tabs on it were properly aligned I bent the tabs back as far as I could. As you can see from the picture of the unit on the wall it looks fine. There are NO screws included with these shelves. I purchased from Lowe's a packet of #10-2 inch Phillips head metal screws. After making sure the unit was level I marked the top of each hole ( r and l) with a pencil. The right screw is in place using a #7 -1 inch L anchor. The left screw is fastened to a stud. I used a 11/64 drill bit to predrill a hole in the stud. You put the screws into the wall then slide the unit over the screws and then tighten the screws down.

Love these shelves! So much that I bought two. Great quality, shipped and packed very well. Easy to install.

Perfect for extra bathroom storage

Good product. Hard to mount on the wall with command strips. Screw holes are bent and a little ugly. But overall it's super cool and I would buy again if given the chance.
