Delighted with this chest of drawers!

I would recommend the DecMode 16" x 42" Brown Wood Faux Leather 6 Drawer Chest with Buckle and Strap Detailing to others. The item was extremely well packaged with a box inside a box with bubble wrap over the dresser itself, so no damage. It is heavy, sturdy and sits level on flat ground. It also includes a strap to anchor it to the wall to avoid fall overs on little tikes. It is fully assembled. The trim and handles are adhered firmly. The drawers slide in %26 out easily, and they have a synthetic felt-like lining on all sides inside. The front and the two sides are covered in the faux leather, while the back is a medium weight wood painted black. I believe it is well priced and will last years with normal adult use, not kids or cats usage proof :) ha-ha, in my opinion. It reminds me of English equestrian country manor house or vintage safari style decor. Could also be used for the “well-traveled” type décor that accommodates ship or train steamer trunk styling.

I bought this for all my socks...Apparently I have alot. The drawer arent the easiest glide, but thats ok. This looks great in my room and matches my walnut stained dressers pretty well.

Cute style with a "Suitcase" Look!!

Not really meant as a bedroomchest but makes a great storage place for small items lke washclothes, makeups, small lotion bottles. Probably good in the bathroom or inside a linen closet..

Pretty nice design, doesn't look cheap. A little smaller that I thought it was going to be. Constructed fairly well for the price. No assembly really required expect for the safety strap for the wall.

They have a nice look to them, but the drawers have a very rough opening. It seems there should ...

They have a nice look to them, but the drawers have a very rough opening. It seems there should been some glide buffers underneath so they would open more smoothly. On the side the are false seems between each drawer to add to the illusion of stacked trunks, but the bottom drawer sections and the spacer to the floor are all together instead of also having a false seem between them, which detracts from the illusion for which they intended. The depth is not a much a most drawer cabinets so the is a greater risk of tip over. Once I got the drawers full, it seemed fairly stable for reasonable use. They do include anchoring mechanisms if you feel you need them in the event you have children or others whose use would not be reasonable.

It looks great. The draws slide in and out with ease.

I store my socks in it. Works great.
