Solved the problem

One of our cats was urinating just outside the little box. This high walled little box with the step in has solved the problem. I shared this solution with another cat owner with the same issue. Thanks to chewy for amazing products and service.

Height

My cat has loved to kick his litter out of his box for years. The height and the narrow opening don't allow him to kick out his litter.

Good design

Good size, even for a bigger kitty, but still compact. High sides prevent litter going all around,. The front step theoretically prevent litter going to the front too, but my cat decides to jump rather than step so its functionality is lost. One improvement would be increasing the size if the scoop itself, which frankly is very small indeed.

Great size, step is frustrating.

I love the overall size, shape, and height of the litter box. Unfortunately the design takes away from how perfect it could be. While the platform for the step is removable, the actual base of the step is not. This makes an awkward “island” in the litter box and cleaning between that is not easy.

This is a great litter pan. Very little gets out and my big cat fits.

Cats won’t use it!

Super nice size but it’s been available to my cats for over a week and they are not using it at all?! Disappointed

Hate the step support

I was excited to get this litter box because of the size and the low step-in being at the one end of the box. My chubby older cat can't squat and has a hard time with taller openings so the height and length of this box was perfect. I saw where the step was removable, however, I didn't read, or missed seeing, where the step support itself was not removable. It's actually molded into the bottom of the box which just puts it in the way of any cat entering or leaving the box and you'd have to clean out around it. This feature makes it unusable for my cat. If you could make the same litter box without the step and step support, I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Awkward

It is difficult to scoop around the raised grate and awkward for a large cat. I do not like it

Oh gosh, this was a good purchase. Cats took to both of them right away. I have much less litter outside of the box now.

High sides

Finally I have found the right litter box for my cat. He pees high which has meant a lot of cleanup, but the extra high sides prevent peeing over the edge and the extremely smooth surface is easy to wipe down. Finally had to remove the “step “ when he dislodged it while over burying and it frightened him.

There is a lot less litter scattered than with other boxes

Three little step sometimes collapses. It can be difficult to replace because litter gets in the grooves where it sets. Cats go in over the step, but leave over the side.

Great Height

I love the height of the litter box, my only issue is when that white slotted cover is on and the cats pee right down in it, you have to remove the cover and try to scoop the litter.

No pee leakage

Easy to clean and no ridge for pee to leak out. One of my cats has bad arthritis and cant squat.

X large litter box

We have 3 cats and this litter box is perfect. High sides prevent them from getting litter outside of the box.
