it's okay for what i need
the chair looks exactly as the picture. its not extremely padded but for occasional use it's fine. it was missing a small piece, a square washer but i put it together anyway and its fine. im 4ft 11in and my feet dont touch the ground when the chair is all the way down. it was very easy to put together.

Best chair ever! I found this chair online after searching seriously for years for a comfy, stable chair to use in my sewing room. I needed a chair with an easy swivel to it that was low profile but still provided back support and roll with ease across carpet and provided a good height adjustment range - wow did I find it! Safavieh is a great brand and I have many of their area rugs so I thought I would take a chance especially knowing how well Home Depot stands by their products - there are no 'cons' for me and here are the 'pros':

This was a wonderful chair and exactly as advertised. I have a narrow corner desk and I was concerned that it wouldn't fit because it looks so wide, but it fit perfectly. It is very comfortable and a great addition to my room.
