This pan is amazing for roasting chicken, frying potatoes, anything that you’re cooking can be thrown in here. This pre-seasoned cast iron is wonderful right from the start. No stick in no time. Love this pan.

I use this pan tp fry cabbage for haluski. and it holds the entire head.

Where’s the lid in the advertisement?

While looking at descriptions of this skillet it did NOT show the “Lid” it is supposed to come with

What beautiful pizza pans these make. use butter and parm cheese instead of flour. These are heavy but so worth the price and will last for 200 years lol. Most stores are asking 100 dollars for this size. These are awesome for making pizza.

Large Big Green Egg owners

Firstly this is an excellent skillet and why I gave it a 5. However I purchased this to do steaks in the big green egg which is 19' internally. The top of the skillet is 16' but with the handles it measures 19.75'. So you cannot put it in the big green egg and close it.

I needed a cast iron pan with higher sides than my existing Griswold and Wagner griddles for making pan and deep dish pizzas.

Better Than Expected

The size was a bit bigger than I expected (I should have paid attention to the specs). It was perfect for frying fish (whole snappers)! No need to cut them down to fit it small fryers. I think I will make pizza in it next!!!!

Very rough cooking surface

I haven’t used this skillet yet and I really want to love it. It’s a great size, but as other reviewers mentioned, the surface is very rough. Even though it says preseasoned I went ahead and followed the directions that came with it and re-seasoned. I’m hoping it will release what ever I cook easily.

Not high quality.

I could tell first thing it wasnt as high quality or as sturdy/thick as my lodge. I like it, but even after seasoning it sticks. I'm going to season it several more times and hope it improves. It warped in the center on my stovetop, but mostly flattened back out when it cooled. I've never had that happen to cast iron before. The size is great though. I'll keep it, it works, but I won't buy another. Next time I'll spend more and buy a lodge.

You have to love cooking with cast iron, and embrace the care it takes, which isn’t that bad. It’s a great large size. It is pre-seasoned, but I always do/add more, which I recommend.

Largest pan I own

This is a great pan. Heavy enough to hold heat. Large enough to do a meal without crowding the pan. Well seasoned.
