These are brass, I needed Gold. I got a notice, saying they were on backorder.  I tried to cancel the order but I couldn’t. I was told they were made to order and the order could not be cancelled because of that. Nowhere on this item Did it tell me that I couldn’t cancel the order or that they were made to order. the customer service person and told me I would just have to wait until they came and return them, once I got them I looked at the packaging and it was filthy. This had been in the back of some warehouse and were all dirty. The back of the packaging. Of course it says made in China, neither were they made to order or backordered they just had to find them. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem with something I ordered from from Wayfare, if you order something, you never know if it is what you saw on the website. And return s are nearly impossible. It’s a disgrace.

I installed this within 5 minutes of its arrival because the plastic one in my kitchen was so badly scratched up it looked terrible. This was a real improvement. Looks nice, well made, fit perfect. Only thing is the shiny, mirror like, surface shows all the fingerprints so it will need to be wiped frequently if its in a high traffic area. But the brass color is really pretty. I would bet more for electrical plug areas where less handling occurs.
