Defective Item

This product was not prpperly working so i had to return it. My dissapointment was, I choose same day delivery and paid for shipment to install it same day but didnt work. Plus the shipment cost is not refundable, eventhough the product sent was defective. Reached out to customer service but he keeps on saying the delivery is done and so no ferfund. Home Depot should be responsible for the shipment cost if they send defective item.

poor quality

Keys do not match the cylinder. Followed all instructions (even though this is not my first rodeo), and when done went to try to use the lock with the new cylinder. Everything was fine on the side with the thunb turn, but neither of the supplied keys worked on the key hole side!

I purchased the lock as a replacement for my Clopay Garage Door. The parts included with the cylinder did not fit the opening correctly, so when attempting to install the lock the screw heads on the screws provided stripped easily, one screw broke leaving a piece in the cylinder. The locks will be returned.

Avoid buying this product unless you already know all about it.

The instructions are quite inadequate. I asked for help in the store and brought my old cylinder but the salesman in the lock department didn't help at all. This cylinder doesn't appear to be a proper replacement for the Schlage cylinder I was trying to replace. I wasted a lot of time trying to use it.

Pain to install

This is an excellent deadbolt replacement cylinder if you don't consider the installation. I needed a replacement of weathered down, scratched off cylinder and I wanted it in chrome to match a door handle. This was the only choice in the store, but it carried ~$5 premium over the more generic cylinder.
