Hardware is designed to pull out or disconnect without completely destroying the drywall. With that in mind the hardware still has a strong hold so it's likely that the drywall anchors will pull out first.
It’s okay. I’m not in love with it. The smaller bar is really too small to use for anything unless you wanted a second hand towel bar.
