This rack is very sturdy. I did a few adaptations. I added different holes so the rack would be in studs. I also purchased small single hooks and added one at the bottom at each end of the board and also centered at the bottom between each hook. My grandchildren were staying with me, and I was tired of a pile of coats on the couch. I put this on a short hallway wall. The double hooks are a good shape to hold the coats and rounded on the ends to not poke holes in sweaters. They do well for hanging scarves and coats. The small added hooks take care of hats and mittens or gloves that can attach together. Even the little one can hang up her own coat, and it's easy to choose which coat to wear when it's time to go out. I recommend this product.

The quality is below what I expect from Home Depot. The hooks are only secured with a single screw for each hook on the lower back. The top of the hook has a hollow pin that goes into the "board" which keeps the hook from spinning. The hooks would be much stronger if there was a screw at the top also. Pulling on the top of the hook causes the hook to move away from the "board". I might add my own screw at the top of each hook, but it will require tapping the hollow pin. The "board" is not wood and measures 2 3/4" x 23 7/8" and is 1/2" thick.

There was not indication as to the spacing of the screw holes - I was hoping for 16 inches on center as is the standard stud spacing, but they are 13 inches on center. I will be returning to store. Please add screw hole spacing to your specs in the future.
