Rusts and difficult design

We have the metallic looking version of the light and over time if became very RUSTY. The light bulb is very difficult to change as the globe can become very snug to the point where it is a nuisance to even have this light anymore. Motor on fan became loud in short time and has since burned out. We really wanted to like but it's more a pain than anything.

glass fell out within a week of install while I was doing other work in my attic. replacement glass is back ordered and is about the cost of a new unit! glass was heavy and I now have minor floor damage, but fortunately no personal injury. gonna research if this product has any recalls. look and price are (or were) the pluses.

I purchased this model due to it's attractive appearance, and I'm very satisfied in that regard. The unit also runs quietly and does a good job of venting my small bathroom. I did pair it with a Leviton automatic humidity switch, which I really like. However, I thought that the build quality could be better, the fan housing seemed a bit flimsy, and had a lot of miscellaneous cutouts that could leak attic air into the bathroom space. Also directions consisted entirely of pictures, which is OK, but there were pages and pages of them, and it was unclear if whether they were describing sequences of assembly or various methods of installation. Some text would have been helpful.

Works very well for our needs. Initially the fan is just slightly louder than I had expected, but after some time we have grown used to it and it’s as though it’s not even on. Installation was super easy. Fit and finish is very nice. Led bulbs were a tight fit but it worked out in the end.

I had intended to use this as an replacement to a regular light fixture in my bath. I planned on installing a horizontal vent to the outside. After further consideration due to the weight of the glass globe I realized a sturdy attachment of the blower box would defiantly be needed to support the weight. That would have been ideal for new construction but a major chore for an existing upgrade especially considering I was going to do it myself. I decided to go with a cheaper light weight plastic globe model that does not look professional as this.

This exhaust fan and light combo is very attractive with a distinctive glass globe and very nice brushed chome trim ring that hides the exhaust fan opening. It is very solidly constructed and seems rattle resistant for the long run. Very easy to install, the light assembly and trim ring are separate pieces and get put on after the fan body is secure in your opening. Also the fan motor itself is easliy removed for easy installation from the main body..These removable parts will also make for easy maintenance in the long run.The instuctions are fairly easy in an international no words needed step by step diagrams..with various options depending on installation options. This combination fan/light combo make for a very attractive choice for many decors and rooms. It goes well in my master bathroom providing excellent additional lighting and a fairly quiet andwell needed exhaust fan..
