I have recently begun using a variety ARMACOST LED light fixtures although I have been using their LED drivers for quite some time. This 3 3/8” recessed Gimball Light with a brushed stainless steel trim is one of their newer offerings and I decided to give it a try. Since I prefer a light source that appears to be incandescent I generally choose LED lights with a 2700k color temperature. This fixture is very well made and easily looks like it costs 2 or 3 times as much as I does. The visible trim, when the fixture is installed, is solid metal with a brush stainless steel look. I can’t tell if it is actually stainless or not; the manufacturer simple calls it brushed steel. As the name implies, this fixture pivots to direct light where it is wanted - to light a piece of art that is wall hung or a fireplace mantel. While the overall width of the trim is 3.5” the actual lens aperture measures a mere 2”. The mounting hole required is 2 3/4”. Yet this little fixtures produces a whopping 775 lumens of 2700k warm white, incandescent looking light. It is adjustable to produce a 20 or 40 degree beam angle. I have one lighting a picture over my mantel. It requires a 12 or 24vdc LED driver which I highly recommend be wired on the line side with a LUTRON dimmer for the greatest control. Overall, a very nice fixture that I will be using for future lighting projects. It is made in China.

We have been huge fans of Gimball lights for quite awhile now. We love the clean look once they are installed and because they are recessed the whole ceiling or area where you install them looks bright, clean and always do professionally done. These lights are also adjustable which is a big plus as well. If you are looking for some light solutions take a good look at these Gimball lights. Highly recommend

This entirely pretty nice 3-3/8" LED ceiling night will bring you a prestige ceiling decorative. With its 2700K warm tone color leave with you a warm feeling and comfortness inyour room. Sand brused metal finish produce a classical outlook. I'm sure it will dress up your deiling more elegant. The light is adjsutable for 20 degree and 40 degree and angle tilt too. That is fully adjustable as the way of lighting you prefer. Look through the light head, there is a piece of dome shape disffuser built in to spread out the light more evenly. Installation is easy as you cut a 2-3/4" hole in the ceiling then insert the light is done. You don't need a recessed housing for it. The light had its own spring clip for installationesily. the only thing the light has no transformer ( 120v to 12V transformer ) is included. If you gong to install number of this light make sure you buy a power enough transformer for the light power consumption. Transofrmer you have to buy separately. Don't forget it can work with dimmer switch for you can control the brightness of the light.

This could easily be listed as an automotive or a recreational vehicle product since they use 12 volt lights. I am putting it in my camper in the ledge over my outdoor shower. The ledge at the roof is where the clearance lights are and there is a small space for the thickness of the light. It would be more useful in an RV or an automotive setting if it were flatter, but you would not be able to adjust it. I like the spring snap retailer design. It holds the light in place nicely!

This is a very nice light. The finish looks great and the light color is a warm soft white. With spring loaded clips for holding the light in place installation couldn’t be easier. My wife wanted a light in the cubby above our fireplace and I didn’t want to pull wire or cut holes just yet. I got a 12vdc power supply and put the light in a little box. I added a little switch to the back of the box. My wife loves it.

This 3-3/8" recessed light was a great addition to the bath. It was always dark when taking a shower and by adding the light it brightens the area very well. Since it's a retrofit unit it was very easy to cut a hole in the ceiling and run wiring to it. After it was installed it looked great and made everyone happy. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to add a light but make sure you TURN OFF the power before the final hookup.

I like the size of this light. It can be used in any area where more focused light is needed. It gives off a nice soft light which enhances the area. I also like that it is adjustable and can be used to illuminate a wall or art work. It can be adjusted in any angle because the head has 360 deg movement also, aside from that the beam angle can be set to 20 or 40 deg. It has a beautifully finisher brushed stainless bezel and is easily installed. A 12-Volt DC power supply is required.
