Drawer size an issue

This thing is absolutely gorgeous, and well-built. So, why 2 stars? I read an earlier report on the drawers being too small, and couldn't understand it, so I bought the piece, anyway... Again, it's beautiful, but the mfr. went out of his way to make the drawers absolutely as shallow as possible, when it was structurally completely unnecessary.

Looks great, but not for clothes

I'm really sad. It's a beautiful piece of furniture, but it is so small. The drawers are like 5 inches deep and you can fit about 3-4 pairs of jeans in one drawer. That's it. It's not functional unless you're using it for children's clothing, maybe? I don't get it. And I feel duped. $**** on something I can't really use. It does come fully assembled which was nice. The drawers are lined with a velvet material. The wood looks good. Just ugh, why?!

Scratched furniture

When we bought the dresser it was in good shape...no defects. When unwrapped the top has multiple scratches and a broken handle.
