Whimsical but not Functional

I purchased this over the door hook for our guest bathroom. I like the whimsical nature and trusted Umbra as a brand. Unfortunately the towels do not stay on the "hook". They slide off. Also, the over the door hook cut into the door trim.

Cute but ..........

For cuteness these door hooks get a 5! Practicality wise only a 4. The reasons are : you need a loop on the item you want to hang. Depending on your door, you may not be able to shut it completely with the over the door hooks in place.

Novelty hook hangs well

I bought these on a whim to use in my kitchen. Can’t use on the cupboard I wanted to so they are hanging on my wardrobe rail to hold my belts instead. They only fit cabinet doors, it would be great to have some that fit a door to a room. Very solid construction, hook works well and they are a bit of fun.

Fab little guys

Fab for the bedrooms and ensuite. I have 2 and love the look and functionality. They sit flush on the doors. Glad I found these little guys.

Hanging with my Buddies

The buddy over the door cabinet hooks have proven really helpful! Throughout renovations where things are constantly moving around inside, the hooks have been an quick fix to easily hanging clothes, towels etc. it's the perfect solution to finding that extra bit of storage space we need!

Nice and useful

Very useful tool for hanging towels (or other) without holes in the walls. They can be used at necessity and put in a drawer when not used. Comfortable and funny to see. The only real constraint is about the thickness of the glass/door where to hang them.

Awesome idea but check your door clearance

Love these little guys but check the clearance behind your cupboard doors- I have a beam hanging lower than the hook on the opposite side of my kitchen cupboards - so they cannot close flush with these guys on. They are too thick to straighten the bend on the opposing hook - not sure why there is a hook on this side too???

Super cute but not good for all cupboards

These are adorable but no good for the kitchen cupboards I bought them for as the door doesn’t close with them on. But works on bathroom cabinets. Great quality

Great and inovative hooks

Sent for these hooks, as had seen them and thought they were great !

Disappointed

Wanted one of these for ages and was happy to find them in Myer now but they are garbage. Towels and microfibre cloths just fall off unless you can hang them with a tag. Not all cloths /towels have tags though.

So cool, but not very functional for towels

I absolutely love these little guys as they bring a bit of fun to the house. But as a towel hook, they are terrible (sorry)!! If you have a towel with a loop sewn in they stay on fine, otherwise they slide off, or need to be tucked in behind, which gets a bit frustrating. We have ended up using them to hang the kids swimming goggles on and this has been great!!

Practical, well priced and well made. Particularly like the design; kind of cute. We bought these over door hangers to cope with bath towel overflow during guest visits over the holidays. Liked them so much that we bought another set.

Perfect Fit

The delivery took a few days longer than I expected, but, however, I did order during the Holiday Season. My 'Li'l Buddy' is a perfect fit for the 2 cabinet doors: under the kitchen sink and under the bathroom sink. No fuss, no bother — just remove from the box and slip it over the cabinet door.

Great design, but extremely poor design for practicality. The clothes keep sliding off the hooks. Especially when itas behind an active door that opens and closes most of the time. Very frustrating to have to keep moving the clothes that have fallen behind the door.

Legs too short

Looks good but doesn't always hold properly for lack of length in legs. Thin dishtowels and rags can slip off easily. If they are wet it will hold better and dry "to shape". Otherwise I took the habit of wrappi g in front of the legs so it stays put.

Awesome hook

I really love this Buddy Over The Door 2 Hook. It is small but extremely sturdy. Putting it together is as easy as 1,2,3. The color finish is very nice and elegant. The buddy design is so cute. I can easily hook it over my door and hang multiple purses at the same time. It really holds up steady. Material quality is excellent. Definitely purchasing extra sets for the rest of the rooms in my home. I recommend 100%.

Nice hook

This over the door hook is nice. It fits most doors and has little pads on the hooks so it doesn't slide on the door. The hooks themselves are two little figures that look like little people hanging and have a no slip coating on them. The only draw back is the hooks are a little big. I prefer to hang my sweatshirts and jackets from the little loop that is sewn in to the jacket collar, but these hooks are too big for most of them

Very Useful!

This Buddy Over-the-Door Double Hook that features Umbra’s signature buddy figurine.is both stylish and very useful. It is black with a matte finish. It has two sturdy hooks which is great as it makes it the perfect size to hold our coats and other items. It installs quickly and easily fitting doors up to 1 ½ inches thick, and measures 12 ½ x 8 ½ x 4 ¼ inches. I highly recommend this awesome product!

Cute and practical.

First of all, this is an adorable two hook holder. It looks just like two people hanging from a bar. It's light weight but it does a great job of holding my bulky bath robe, no problem. Towels have a tendence to slide off because of the round nature of the hook but it can still work for towels if you hook them on right. I also do not think the hook bar does any marring to the door itself which can happen with some metal ones. It is of course, super easy to install. Simple hand it over the top of a door and voila, done. It's cute, functional and I like it.
