Not my cup of tea!!

My family has bought fine bone china over decades and Wedgwood has always been a preeminent brand. Now, however, as with several other UK makers, Wedgwood has its china made under licence in Asia. This cup and saucer has a beautiful pattern but barely sits comfortably on the saucer. It is pretty to look at but is disappointing to use.

pretty and whimsical. my favorite in the collection. I am so glad its dishwasher safe. Only crib its not microwave safe but I wouldn't use it in the microwave much anyway

I received this item from my wedding registry. It is even more elegant and beautiful than I imagined from the photos online. It is high quality and I cannot wait to host a tea party for my girlfriends and female family members. I keep it in its original box because it is so pretty! I love that each of the teacups and saucers in this collection is unique.

Love My Wedgewood!

This tea cup and saucer is bone china and is one of my favorites! Love that it is part of a set with a matching teapot (albeit a quite small one). Highest quality and beautiful design and colors!

Absolutely beautiful tea cup. It is vibrant and bright. The butterfly and flower design with the gold trim is very attractive. I love it.

Disappointed

I brought this a present to myself disappointed with it because it is difficult to hold, as the cup handle is too small And the saucer is too flat. I have kept it but would not recommend it

Nice

Wow! Finally feel all grown up! I just received my Wedgewood Butterfly Bloom Teapot. It's beautiful but very petite. It's smaller than expected. It's more of a personal teapot. Package beautifully!

Disappointing

I was very attracted to the shape of this teacup and saucer set, but in practice found it hard to use without spilling the contents. The saucer's very flat so picking it up usually results in some spillage, and the wide lip of the teacup tends to exacerbate this problem. The eclectic Butterfly Bloom pattern is generally very pretty, though I find the green colourway a little bilious, and the blotchy flower on the inside of the cup isn't up to Wedgwood's usual quality. Regretfully these were quite quickly assigned to the back of my china cupboard.

Beautiful china, excellent service

I bought two of these absolutely stunning cups and saucers. I can't tell you how gorgeous they are. They arrived beautifully packaged in Wedgwood boxes. The china is so lovely I will be adding to my collection. I ordered these, with other china for delivery overseas. Delivery was well within the time promised, in perfect condition. I cannot stress enough how good John Lewis is for on-line ordering and for overseas delivery. Would think seriously before going to any other provider. My favourite shop.

The most meaningful purchase I ever made.

I purchased a teapot and 2 cups and saucers for my granddaughter's birthday. She loves the set since it is very unusual and so is she. The drive to her apartment takes about an hour and on each visit we always share a delicious pot of tea. This tea set has bonded us together like nothing else ever has. We both will always share these lovely memories. Thank you Macys for offering such a beautiful treasure!
