[Rewarded Review] Butterfly wind chime

Purchased as a birthday gift for my granddaughters birthday. She loved it and looks forward to making it and hanging in her newly remodled bedroom.

I bought this for my grand daughter, she loves doing crafts. She is 7 years old and loved decorating it.

i bought this over a month ago, and my granddaughter and I tried to put it together. She lost the body parts. Without them it doesn't work as a chime because they get all tangled up. So, make sure that you keep all parts visible. I want to try it with her again, because she really liked the craft.

I bought it as a present for my six-year old niece, she loves to do crafts with my mother. She's very excited because one of the girls in her neighborhood already has a windchime and now she gets to have a windchime too, but hers is cooler because she gets to make it herself. Definitely a big hit.

The fishing line-like string will not hold a knot and any knot we got in it would slip thru the holes.

Messy

This comes with paint that is not at all washable and is very messy. It is now permanently on my bathroom wall.

Must Purchase Additional Parts to Complete Kit

Cute little kit. Unfortunately, the "strings" in the kit that are meant to hold every piece together aren't string. They were slim cords of elastic and they don't stay tied. You can try different knots and pull the knots as tight as you can and it just unravels/unties itself. Kind of hard to have a windchime with no chimes attached. It was a very cute looking windchime, but you will need to make an additional purchase to supplement the shoddy parts in this kit.

Mom needs to help a lot!

The kids were able to paint the butterflies but the construction of the wind chimes was quite difficult. The elastic “strings” were very challenging.

Not like picture

I thought the wind chimes would be a fun project for my granddaughter, but it didn't turn out like the picture. The paints were messy and smeared on the butterflies wings and the plastic string that was used to tie on the chimes, wouldn't stay tied. It was very frustrating and I ended up having to tape it together. Also, the plastic string wouldn't allow the chimes to hang strait.
