Beautiful

This is a beautiful, quality, substantial futon. It is much nicer and more comfortable than your usual cheap version found in local stores. The frame is lovely and the optional side table for electronics, snacks or remote is great. The mattress is nice. It sleeps well and is the equivalent to a full size bed. The frame is a bit difficult to adjust and may take some getting used to. The espresso finish is gorgeous though. I purchased this for an office that would occasionally serve as a guest bedroom. (Don't mind the photo, I'm moving) It has held up well and I would purchase another. Just make sure you have ample space for it and someone to help you lift. It's heavy!

Great packaging and instructions. I am a very organized person myself and it was impressive to see how organized and neat the tools and instructions were. Everything was individually labeled. Made it extremely easy to follow and assemble. I also love how the mattress feels (I don’t use it to sleep) and it looks lovely overall, as well. As for durability, I have not used it long enough yet (a couple of weeks!).

Wrong Futon Delivered

I ordered this futon with BLACK base, and RED mattress as pictured above. Instead, I received a futon with BROWN base, and BLACK mattress (see attached photo). I am extremely disappointed that you got this so wrong!!!! After all the effort and expense to get it in the house and assembled, I will NOT be returning the item, but my trust is broken, and I will think twice about ordering furniture from you again. I notice that my color choice is no longer listed on the website, so does that mean you just sent me what you had left over instead of my color choices???

This is truly a lovely piece of furniture that not only looks great but is also very well built. I couldn't be happier with how well it looks in my room and how comfortable it is to sit and sleep on. It was also quite easy to assemble. The online video helped to make the assembly a snap. I highly recommend watching the video because this piece did not come with any written directions. The versatility of the side trays that can be placed in an up or down position is another huge convenience. They are so easy to raise and also look great in either position. I ordered with the slide under drawers to use for extra storage of bedding and they also work with ease and look very nice. They "finish" the futon with a rich and classy look. This is a great value for the price and I would readily recommend it to everyone. Thank you Overstock for yet another great purchase!

I was little worried about ordering a big piece of furniture online without seeing it live, but after shopping around my local furniture stores without luck I fell in love with this futon just from the pictures and decided to take a chance. Wow is all I can say, I ordered on Wednesday and it got delivered the following Monday, great shipping service first of all. So it took me around two and a half hours all together to unpack assemble and break up the boxes. Assembling was fairly easy if you are handy at assembling things. The quality of the mattress is very nice, and the frame very sturdy. I picked the option with the two drawers and I am so happy for that. The futon is a little bit high off the floor to be used as a regular sofa but to be fair I am on the short side. I took a nap on it already without opening the futon and it is so comfortable. I recommend this product if you are interested in it, I have got great compliments about it from everyone who have seen it so far, my husband,sister and neighbor. It compliments my living room and didn't take over the room even though I couldn't wedge it against the wall since you need to have some free space behind it so you can open it all the way when needed! Mattress folds right where it should and it doesn't slip off the frame, the construction of the mattress is very well done.
