The assembly instructions need to be revised. You need to be sure not to tighten the legs to the first tier and you need to attach the brackets to the table tops before trying to attach them to the legs. Otherwise the table tops get scratched up while trying to force fit them to the leg slots
Not the quality expected. Both shelves did not fit.

The product itself is alright, but the instruction sheet is incorrect. It would need a re-write, with new pictures.

Some of the joints were a little off, other than that, nice steady end table.
Looks nice. Not as sturdy as I would like but working for now. I plan to find something with more substance that doesn't need screws to be tightened up periodically.
Shailene End Table is very cheaply made. Difficult to assemble, couldn't put the bottom shelf on at all (didn't fit), and the middle shelf didn't really line up either. Plus the paint chipped off so easily just putting it together. Guess you get what you pay for. The other three tables I purchased were more expensive and were good.
I bought this three tier table for my family room and I liked it at first but soon after it started falling a part . I put nothing heavy on it ,
Finish is a PAINT JOB not a stain. Like the earlier comment I also had to repair the finish. Do NOT tighten the mounting screws until you are done with assembly. Even though I followed that procedure I scratched the PAINT. The finish is Ebony black not espresso. Otherwise it is good wood and easy to assemble.
Design flaw results in scratches
The assembly design results in major gauging and scratching of finish around precut notches in tiers. Horrible flaw. Had to fix with a wood marker quite extensively.
It looks good, but much trouble assembling. No instructions, one key part out of alignment, hard to get together without scratching the legs.
